Update on Current HGN Situation

We have recently had a few issues in HGN regarding our administration and playerbase. It's not often we have admin meetings as things are generally running smoothly however we have hit that olde bump in the road and we would like to keep our playerbase in check. There are several things i want to say in this topic, these are;

• Admin overhaul
• Dug Issue
• Crussaria Update

Admin overhaul

We are doing an overhaul of our srp administration which has not happened in some time, i considered doing a wipe an restarting from scratch however it's an easier motive to just edit the lineup.

SV - DuranBlackRaven (Trial Basis)
SV - Rebel (Trial Basis)
SV - Commisar - Demotion from SR (Further demotion applies to activeness)

SA - Royz (Probably the most inactive member of the team but still with us)

Alex\Predu are being removed from admin due to being inactive\Not Fit unless Predu can show motivation to continue his trial.
Dug is awaiting a further discussion on his situation and is being given leeway on the basis of being a long standing member at HGN.

To Note: We are now looking for new potential admins who have been long-standing members at HGN to join our srp admin team.

The Dug Issue

Dug was given moderation of the character boards yesterday and used his power today to authorize a pk by doomburger who has been away for several months now, to pk rebel's military leader character. This was all staged and dug stated to me that he did this to take "heat" off of stone who has a bounty. This however was totally out of order and abuse of his power to which commisar who was the SR tried to talk to Dug after this happened to which dug ignored any advice or instruction and refused to explain why he did it to commisar.

Instead Dug went straight to me and targeted commisar while doing his best to avoid the situation and problem he caused with the pk. By doing this i tried to talk to him and make him explain himself and make him see fault however Dug remained ignorant and then i said he would receive a demotion if he kept targeting commisar and did not conform and confront the situation at hand, to which he replied that he's leaving and bringing people with him.

This is a sad day when an admin does this, from what he explained this was more planned than a coincidence. I tried to make him see sense, being a long standing member and having admin for around a year now however dug was intent on sticking to a deal where he will only stay if Commisar is removed from admin. To which i called an admin meeting to talk about the issue however in the end all the admins agreed that commisar, although inactive and has had a rough reputation for along time is innocent and dug was the one at fault.

It's Dugs choice to leave, he's not being banned and i would advise anyone wanting to follow him to think twice at being a sheep. He's leaving because he didn't like another admin and wanted to force my hand to remove him and was flagged up because of the pk stunt he pulled. So if he's still going then, bye dug, overall it's his choice and abuse is not tolerated in the admin team.

Crussaria Update

I have been continuing work on Crussaria recently and i am hoping to get a early alpha up again in the next few days. It will be a closed alpha and only members who wear HGN tags are likely to be considered to test it. Alot of things are still to be done script wise and everyone is expected to avoid powergaming careers\characters\situations and just roleplay as villagers until such time things change. Features like magic and such will be added overtime and will be controlled through the script.

This will be the second time it'll be in alpha actually. The first "Alpha" was really just a basic nexus script with varied custom models and props. It was GREAT role-play but it was unacceptable to Silvers standards script-wise to be used more.

Crussaria is looking good, Ill admit, Im excited. The roleplay was excellent! Im glad its top, or near top priority.            I am sad to hear about dug, very sad. I hope he wont leave.

Congrats to the admin team members. Not use to seeing that many SV's, but they're well earned in any case. Thy, I understand how you may feel, but a specific rank of admin doesn't change the rules that'll still be enforced, so you just keep doing a good job like you have been.

On a second note, I am still looking forward to Crussaria, hope to see a potential test of it again in the near future.

I wouldnt say that,but when I was playing like..5 months ago,I seen Duran alot of times on server-while was my time and my timezone,thats why I said that.

Also,about the map-most of people voted for srp_redemption  in that vote on forums.And it is supposed to be on server,why are we on occult anyway?
