Grayzar was born a prince unto the Royal Family of the Yetian House. His Father, The King, always wanted many children, but was never able to have more than a single son. He was trained to be a warrior from an early age, of which he enjoyed greatly. Around the age of 6, his mother was abducted and found dead, presumably by a Demon. Time went by, and Grayzar turned off the sadness, making jokes at everything, a smile always on his face. This trait never changed, even in war times. By the age of 16, Gray had grown into a very skilled and powerful warrior. He was placed in charge of an elite group of soldiers, under the protection of the royal guard. Soon, the squad of 7, not counting the guards, found battle with a platoon of over a hundred. The royal guards were almost immediately killed in combat and sadly, two more fell that day. The rest of the squad survived, and formed a bond that withheld through the rest of the war. One dwarf in particular Thráin formed a especially strong bond with Grayzar. The two often spent days with each other, even in the peaceful days that followed the war. This was a common pattern, until the day Gray met Thráin's sister, Ranora.

At that point, Grayzar spent most of his days with Ranora. The two, after years of shyness and modesty, finally were married. Those were the happiest times of his life. He continued to be happy with his wife for some time, until her murder. Gray went on a path of rage followed by a path of grief. The ones responsible for the death of his wife were dealt with in a "fair" way.

He quickly went off to sulk in the northern mountains.
He stayed in those lands for ten years, until he received a letter from his father reading simply:
"Gray,
The time for tears is done. A new land interests me and you ARE to venture there as our ambassador. It is called Iseyu. You leave for our shores tomorrow morning. Pack your things.
Your Father and King."

So, he reluctantly did as he was told, and that is what he became: Reluctant. A reluctant prince, reluctantly traveling to a land he is reluctant to go to.
(This is subject to change depending on the lore being released, as well as a few edits from myself.)
