Where do teen app makers learn?

Why do so many teen app developers go to private schools?

Because the students who go to private schools have
1: The money for the software required
2: The free time because they have strict parents and therefore no friends
3: The brains because they go to public school
I think it's mostly coincidence, though. I can create apps myself but I haven't gotten millions of dollars for them. Meh.

EDIT:
You asked where they learn.
I personally just screwed around with some app-making programs I found online (hint: google) and taught myself. As far as I'm aware, that's what most people do. I don't make apps very often though. I've only made a couple and just for fun. Nothing in the app store.
