Can't wait for the Ouya ! :D
Seems interesting, probably won't buy it however, why do it on that when i have a laptop that can emulate the stuff anyway, or my smartphone.

Its the size of a rubiks cube, its designed to be portable and run all android games and some ouya-specific games, ontop of that it has modability support (basically like homebrew for the psp) for people who choose to (I don't know if they condone basically 'jailbreaking' your console to download everything for free though). Its an alternative to people who want to play their favorite android games with a controller and on a larger screen basically.

It can also run games that work on Unity player.
