Post suggestions/complaints about the faction here.

Keep it civil. Any direct attacks or insults will be deleted. You'll be warned once to knock it off, and then you'll be banned and forumstruck if you keep it up.
(Besides, why the hell should someone listen to you if you're too busy telling them how much of a dumbass they are for doing/not doing something?)

CORRECT WAY TO CRITIQUE:
Positive Critique: I think you should add X to what you do. Things would be better if you added X because... (explain).
Negative Critique: I don't like how X is done. I think you should stop doing X because... (explain).

WRONG WAY TO CRITIQUE:
Positive Critique: You're stupid for not having X. Things would be better if you had X, but you've got your head too far up your ass to see how good it'd be.
Negative Critique: Are you retarded? Why do you have X? Get rid of it you moron. It'd be better without X and make more sense.

Carry on.

Thanks Spades, this is cool.

Find a way to limit the use of your sniper.

Don't want an eagle eye watching every point on the map. Since the map is small and everyone lives next door.

I have my own little circle of where I can shoot. It's near the truck in the middle of the road. People/mutants always seem to be doing something around there. If there is something going on past that, I just watch.
I'm hip! What are you talking about!

In my opinion, if you can see it, you can shoot it, roll for the shot. The further away, the higher the number has to be for a hit.

In regards to your "I could keep the Ranger armor if I defected thing."

As far as I'm aware, the Rangers and the NCR were never in any open hostile conflict, they united because they sought out common goals in the wasteland. But that's besides the point. You don't just keep your armor, the NCR has regulated standard issue.

For example:

If a Russian spetsnaz operative defected to the side of the US during the Cold War, they didn't let him keep his weapons or spetsnaz uniform, did they? That'd just be weird and lawless.

I agree yet disagree, this is my combat uniform modified to look like it is a part of the NCR. It isn't technically Ranger armor anymore, it's more of a modified version of it that has NCR tags/coloring.

^ This.

Mind you however this is still only temporary. As soon as we get a proper high officer uniform skinned, Kropfi will wear that instead. Like it or not Kropfi. :3

To continue on this example.

If a spetsnaz defected but modified his uniform to have US colors would it still fit? No. It's a spetsnaz uniform, the US has their own standard issue and so they enact it.

Redundant reply.

Misunderstanding reply

Your post was posted at nearly the same time mine was I believe, maybe a few minutes before. I was in the post editor while you posted it, therefore I didn't bother looking at it.

SO NOW THIS ARGUMENT IS PRETTY MUCH POINTLESS AND CASE CLOSED.

Well to be honest a leader doesn't need distinguishing armor. As freedom leader I wore normal freedom armor so that I wouldnt get shot right off the bat in a stk fight or rp fight

Its also proven in the games.  Also in real life all ranks wear the same gear for exactly the same reasons Tom said, people dont even salute out in the field because of it.

That's the entire point of a "rank insignia" compared to a giant ass suit of armor that says "Shoot me first" which is exactly what I do every time I see a ranger in STK.
"Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?"
"Here, Alex.. Daddy sent us a package.. The soldier told us that it.. might be a while until Daddy's done with his service. Don't worry, you'll see him soon, Alex.."
"He's always gone! I never get to see him!"

Duty leader wears Duty Exo suit armor, usually. Military leader wears a SKAT. They all distinguish the CO's from the grunts.

I think one of the main reasons for that is cause the Leaders don't have to App for suits.

Because he prefers the suit, but that's beside the point, he doesn't have to wear super awesome suit as leader.
