Why would you like to join our server: I would like to play on a server that has a whitelist system and promotes RP. Previous servers without whotelists or very active mods made construction impossible, as any mook with a stone pick could come in and punch holes in my home. I also feel that by using a RP aspect with what is essentially a giant Lego set makes Minecraft infinitely more fun. After all, there's only so many mage towers or secret bases you can build before you want to pretend you're a bumbling wizard or a mercenary!

Thats because an op has to go on the server and do /whitelist add "name". Just because you've applied and been successfully whitelisted on the forum does not mean they have actually put your name into the server. I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure once you are accepted on the forum an op is meant to go to the server and do /whitelist add "name". Unfortuantely an op hasn't done it in quite awhile leaving many people (like you and me) stuck waiting. I've posted this before and no-one objected to it so this is the most likely cause of the problems people are facing.

Edit: Another reason you may be facing trouble is because Bucky spelt your name wrong when he accepted you on the forum for the whitelist...

If you two are waiting for days... Maybe weeks, I better give up hehe... Sad it is this way, it seems a realy cool server and I would love to be part of hit, but, I think I'm out, I don't like beeing on multiple servers at once, too much info to take care of. Good luck to the others!

You cannot blame the minecraft administration team when we are not allowed to check white list apps.

If it is truly bothering you I strongly suggest pming me over the forums about it and I can deal with it for you, This applies to anyone who feels their app isnt being looked at fast enough or if their whitelist was missed during a whitelist update.

Due to experience from other minecraft servers its just some infromation basically saying the servers down. It usually only lasts a couple of hours before the server fixes itself.

You might want to add that bukkit is not the servers fault and you'll find that most servers will be down so that people aren't like "fix it now plz !!!11!!!1". From what I've seen a few of them don't understand these sorts of issues.

I would not worry about this group, it is diverse, I personally don't know either of them but they should know that rage is best handled out of game.. Is there any way I can prove myself to you? I really want to get into a minecraft rp server and I'd do anything just to try it. All the other rp servers I have joined either turned into build servers, or weren't all they seemed to be. Just tell me what I can do to prove myself and I'll do it. I am not a noob or a griefer and I never will be. Everyone rages to a degree and that includes me, but I am respectful to admins and when I do rage it never leads to any rule breaking. It's normally just a short five minute conflict oocly with another player. Please don't judge me because of my age. I've been denied to multiple rp servers because of this and this is why I added that edit. Please? Well........I probably won't get in because I looked through the current players of the game and I don't know anyone, but ill do the rp. Also, what if you just removed my building abilities until I prove myself that way? Wouldn't that work just as well as having someone vouch for me? Anyways, here's the rp.

*Tetsu looks up at the light blue sky with an intense look on his face, his eyes filled with pure concentration. Slowly, he raises his bow upwards, inch by inch, slowly setting it with an arrow as he does so. Allowing his bow to reach a certain point in the sky, he uses the tip of the arrow as a sort of scope, stareing it down carefully, insuring that it would reach his target in time. Squinting slightly, he then slowly begins to pull the arrow and the strong of the bown backwards, his muscles buldging slightly with the strain of the pull. He lets go. Propelled forward by the force of the spring-like strong, the arrow flies upwards into the sky at full speed, the bird looking as if it could fly into it at any momment. Filled with hopen and suspense, sweat slowly begins to fall down his face as he watches the arrow get closer and closer to its target point, the bird aparently flying right towards the spot in which he is aiming. Seconds seem like hours as the flint-tipped arrow flies, a whoosh filling the air. After a few hour-like seconds, the arrow finally nears its target bird and nails it right on the breast, a terrified screech and an explosion of feathers erupting out of it. Dropping like a rock, the bird instantly hits the ground, blood pouring down its sides. Walking over, Tetsu slowly picks the bird up by the head and lets out a huge sigh. He was going to feed his family tonight.*

These are the types of rps that I do daily on my other non minecraft rp games. I really believe you'd be making a mistake by not accepting me. Age doesn't instantly determine what kind of player I will be.

Geccoy add him onto the whitelist, even if people in this age tend to rage alot, give him a chance, he seem pretty okay to me ^^

Why would you like to join our server: I've been wanting to join a community for some time now that would not only allow me to use my creativity to the fullest, but one that did some role play instead of just chit-chatting all day long. Not to mention a server that stuck with the idea of only building actual medieval-themed towns. I think I wrote it all wrong, Supposed to say i love trying RP:ing in different kind of games, I've also tried SA-MP(wasnt my thing). I've looked around on youtube and saw the YoGPoD's and their server is full of RPing (Or thats what it seems like). Previous roleplay experience: I wish I could say I had more where third/first person games are concerned but I don't. Most of my RP experience comes from text based RP's and Original Character tournaments. I have been doing text RP's for several years now... I wish there was some way to provide documentation of that . But there isn't I dunno as far as text based RP's go I consider myself Semi-lit.  At most I can churn out two to three paragraphs of content if necessary. I know thats generally considered literate levels... but I have issues with grammar and punctuation from time to time.  I've also recently gotten into Original Character Tournaments.... Which I guess you could sort of compare to DnD.  They are sort of similar in that your character is thrust into an adventure that you don't control the major events to.  I haven't really gotten very far in some of them. I think it's more because they are more art based than text or originality based. And also because I don't like to take on more than one at a time.   

What servers you play on: Arkcraft his is occasionally populated so I'm not totally socially inept. This is actually a Friend's server and I think he just intends it to be a build server. Which is fine.. I get to build my own huge castle with traps and elaborate dining halls.  I have a roller coaster outside of my ice castle...so there's absolutely no immersion for an RP...unless it suddenly became a carnival.... But Who knows he could change his mind. 
Psycol0ps server...It was a LONG time ago that his server was actually populated. He kept changing the map when he'd get bored so nothing really stuck around very long, I think thats why most people left. Back when it was populated though there were quite a few people that would get on and RP from time to time and build cool villages. I never joined in because it was my husband's server and at the time I didn't wanna be judged for it (He thinks it's silly). So I was just the admin when I was on...I'd make easter egg hunts and stuff...so I guess I was a demigod to them?  Now It's just me and my brothers if I beg him to put it up so we can play together.   One brother would love to do an RP kinda thing... the other think's RP is silly. I just haven't really found anyone that would like to RP with me.

Why would you like to join our server: I'd been looking for an RP server for a while, because I thought it might be incredibly fun to do something like that in Minecraft. I mean the game is just begging for it. 
Sure it's fun to build castles and stuff... but then they're finished... and there's nothing do with all those elaborate rooms...but sit in them and stare. And wish you had some one that would go along with an RP... or some gladiators to fight in your arena. 
But then there aren't... and the people the people that are there want to hack their way through your skylight instead of using the door...and don't even pretend to be ninjas.
  When I went out looking for an RP server I knew I wanted to join up with one that was of a modest size and not with just...shit ton's of people running around and just plot lines everywhere. And I definitely wanted to join up with one that was in a medieval setting.
I dunno I know no one really knows me on here... but I'd like to get to know you guys and RP with you all.  My characters my not be the friendliest... but I'm a pretty cool laid back person. And I promise I'm not the sort to repel through your skylights with out permission.

Old servers: I used to play on friends servers, but then he closed them down because he could not pay anymore.  He needed 40$, so i supplied him for 2 months, then i ran out of money.  But im getting a job so it should be able to give donations if needed.

Rp experience:  I used to play World of Warcraft, still do, i play on a server called emerald dream, its a RP server.  I find it very fun and i love it and was hoping to actually find a RP minecraft server, and i really hope this one accepts me, looks great!

Reasons to join:  I would LOVE to join an RP server.  As i said before, i used to play on my friends realm, and i was one of those guys who would make a whole city, on my own, and have some guy grief and trash my whole town.  I eventaully ran out of money and stopped funding my friends server, so i left that realm.  I just want to find a server that is really RP, kind of along the lines of Yogscast, but doesnt have to be, and a server where theres more of a RP feel and less chit chat between players.  Chatting is fine but i hate when it is overdone, y'know?  Anyway, please accept my request to join, i could donate money and i think i would be a great and fun addition to this amazing place.  Thank you! Why I would like to join: I would like to join because i love roleplaying. I used to play on a RP realm in WoW before i swiched to Rift. But there was always some kid who grief the crap out of everything when the admins got off. Thats one of the main reasons my other server shut down. A lot of people left because of griefers, and the owner couldn't afford it. The ones who were left donated money but it wasn't enough. The bit I can tell you, is that I am always reluctant about accepting friends.
For example, when I let some of Congors friends on, most were griefers.
Therefore, I am very, very, hesitant when adding peoples friends.

Does it particularly matter? It's a little biased if you don't mind me saying just because of a mistake in the past. If you look at my friend he is certainly not a griefer and it's just me, not a band wagon of griefers or something. People get recommended to everything, I in fact recommended that friend to Minecraft. What if I received a advertisement but was refused a offer because the advertisement location was uncertain?

Why is there a section asking who recommended you to the server if it's frowned upon? I didn't see other people declined because they had friends on the server.

But, the reason I've denied you, is because of other criteria.
That is a factor, and although it might be big, it is not the entire reason.

Emoticons are bad because they clog up the application.
Emoticons are also dumb, as the people who use them believe they can transfer emotion through it, hence, emoticon.
Really, it is just an ugly yellow turd that sits on the post and rots it to the point of waste for eternity.

You're not completely right, but I agree about the rules. Just because Geccoy posted some rules 5/6/idk pages ago of the 24 pages.
That's hard to keep a track of, stick to the first page or make it clear what to write instead.

"oh lol". Geccoy also looks at peoples RP experience, if you have none that's usually fine but some types of RP aren't allowed probably like... I dunno putting Runescape as RP experience. She looks for spelling mistakes and gramatical errors aswell as the ability to string together a few sentences and use punctuation. The emoticon rule is a bit stupid, what it should be is two or more emoticons means an instant denial not one blob with shades on. She also looks at other things but you'd have to ask her that for I'm just giving a little insight onto the situation. Now ohlol you willl not get accepted on the server for being a twelve year old rager, and that goes for anyone else who wants to complain by raging. Complaining is fine (people have gotten on the server before by giving good reasons), but telling us we have problems means we could not care less for you not being on the server.

By the logic you've presented with friends griefing because they're friends were declined, wouldn't it make my friend the griefer instead of me? Well, for starters I have a deep interest in roleplaying, I have had years of experience in roleplaying over various different games as you can see. I beleive that this server would be alot less greivous as it requires an application process and approval from players on the server. Something that you do not see in many other minecraft roleplay servers. This way it seems that the roleplay community would be alot more serious than other minecraft servers that I have seen which are abundant with greifers which severely puts me off the idea of roleplaying on their servers.

you're spamming the whitelist thread which is a bannable offence. On a lighter note Geccoy who is the one that reviews these apps asked people to PM her if you have any problems e.g. questioned as to why you were denied. She usually gets to your app within a day which is much better than the last reviewer who only did it once a week.

Well for one I didn't see the Whitelist rules like the person earlier and no, this isn't a dead topic, you can use roleplay without 'Genuine Experience' just like you can dream without practice (I am a Lucid Dreamer -Which means I can control them-) and stop acting as if this is a CV to get into University.

You gave me no time-frame of how much you RPed, and although it is no doubt a lot, only World of Warcraft isn't much to build off of.
Minecraft isn't WoW.
Its not an MMORPG.
Most people that come from WoW or, want WoW stuff in-game, (cough cough, HGNturkey that one time with the goblins that one time, although, you might've been trolling cough cough) it just doesn't work out.

I would like to have a rich RP experience where the world is being built rather than being in a prebuild world.
From the moment I heart about MineCraft I found it interesting as an RP concept and went on for a search for an interesting one.
It being found in a Medieval Roleplay is fantastic.

Though I must say my experience playing in a non native language is quite limited and therefor my "Medieval" Vocabulary is unfortunately quite lacking, I usually make up for it by being a fast learner.

I don't know how harsh you judge your applications, but make a note that I will not hold a grudge am I not "accepted" :P

Why would you like to join our server: I usually love medieval RPs, as a child i always liked how you could be a brave knight in shining armor, chilling in the inn or guarding the royal castle from assassins or monsters.

The only reason i play alot of medieval games is because i love to roleplay in them such as Oblivion or World of Warcraft.
