Post by: Mr_Squirrel on 28-10-2011
Ermor has fallen...people have fled...but what now?...

Groups have been organized...Cities being built...but what now?

Will the fighting continue...or end?

Will the people of Ermor take back what is their's?...

In case you couldn't tell, my statement above was sarcastic.
However, Port is making a faction called Pravh, which he says is doing something akin to what Ermor did.

Sort of.

I really just want to make a faction with a working governmental body.

Player government is something akin to what Ermor did.  Or attempted.

why don't the admins limit the amount of factions so we don't have a billion?

We did have a agreement IG that not everyone makes their own faction, so if you like magic, you'd go join green, and if you like fighting, join sooty. For others like demon, I'd say wait till Pravh is near done/done

Screw that. My tent faction will rule the world!

But in all seriousness from past experience there ends up being an acceptable amount of factions as the ones which are weak and have little to no players usually disband.

I would say, Factions need Port's approval.

if there will be lots of different factions, who might possibly be at war with each other will it be possible to have some form of diplomatic immunity from the warring factions? sort of like a travelling merchant going around in a circuit of all the factions

Exactly that.

If you aren't in a faction that is at war with another faction, than you should have nothing to fear.  If you stay out of any faction, or make a small faction that aims to trade, et cetera, you will find that other factions will keep you neutral, rather than gain another enemy.  If you are attacked by a faction, then stay away from them and tell people that they are hostile, they will feel the negative effects of attacking people at random.
