Title: Price listings
Post by: OldManRikdo on 15-04-2011
I don't suppose there's a listing of prices for items in Aceon is there?  Like a standard rate of how much a stack of saplings or a stack of seeds would cost in Sonnen?  If there isn't, could we work something out? it would make trading a lot easier if we know how much our stuff is worth.

The script has to do this for the player imo.

The script? What do you mean by that?

I meant that the game itself must tell you an approximate price for a certain item.

Hm... That's defiantly a feature I'd want, but unless we install one of the economy mods like Iconomy, we'll have to come up with values ourselves.  From what I've heard (though I may be wrong) Blackstar and Last.exile don't want to put a lot of mods on the server, so that may also be a no-go...

I was thinking more along the lines of a forum topic where the prices are listed.  Said list could then be edited any time the admins if they feel the prices need to be changed (ie: after an update that makes coal less common, the price of coal would go up)  If not a server wide list, then each faction could have a list, with prices based on the supply and demand within their group (ie: our faction is doing construction with colored wool, we'll now buy wool and dyes at a higher price).

I'm not expecting anyone to bother making a list for every single item in MC, but there are quite a few lists already out there that we could base ours' off of.  I'll see if I can find any good examples online.
