Post by: Macbeth3 on 30-06-2011
Yep, A pure habit of mine just "damned" me again... I pressed the shiny "yes" coming with the update for pistons... DrawbacK? You know... can't join the server cuzz it's outdated.

Does anyone of you remember how to downgrade minecraft to a previous version? :)

My game auto-updates as soon as i login after i Did the thing you posted, bobby.
It doesn't give me a "want to update this shizzle"-thing. It just... does it and downloads/upgrades to 1.7. If i cancel it during the "updating", then i can't load the game at all.

Guess i'll be stuck with not-playing untill the server is updated :(

*EDIT*

Nevermind, found the problem, back working :D

You could experiment with hidden doors in singleplayer

and that, kids, is why you always save a backup revision before updating ANY program.

Thanks for explaining your fix for the problem so some of us that have the same exact problem can know what to do.

I'm with Duran. My windows just updated overnight, and minecraft uninstalled, not to mention losing another 15.6 gigabytes to nothing, so could you please tell us how you did it.

I already know how to downgrade minecraft. But I cannot find a Bin file for 1.6.6. Could someone post a link where I could download it.
