I thought to myself one day after buying a Diamond Pick.
"Wow, 150 denarri for something I provide all the stuff for. Wow."
So, I figured if the Merchants have someone ensuring that they get paid fair, I should have something ensuring I get paid fair. As should all Occupations.
So, I thought, Why not start it myself, even though there are only two miners on, that price is ridiculous. I mean, before I would pay maybe forty denarri for a diamond something or other. But that's not the point, or only part of it. I hope to make sure that this guild, if it were to be made, would help ensure the rights of the workers, not the ones who control them.

Actually diamond tools have been brought down by 25 denarii due to complaints so a diamond pick is now 125 D.

I, honestly would wait for the new server update to start making guilds, etc., and wait for space in the city, to open up. Plus, the server's down right now, so it's kinda pointless, you might as well just wait and ask a higher power to get some land, or ask if the guild HQ can be outside the city limits (which I'd strongly not recommend, as you'd be open to bandits, and the military wouldn't give a crap.. I think).

Make diamond ore sell for more denarii?

I treated the miners like the hunters and gave them books for what they can sell and who they can sell too and how much for. I can't remember what the price of diamond was that AVolcano and me decided but I think it was 20 D which we immediately changed but never noted down. Can you remind me of the price I set it as Lt_Az? Because if it is 20 D the math doesn't add up and it needs to be brought down to to either 10 D and leave the price of a diamond pick at 125 D or bump it down to 15 D and put the price of a diamond pick up and vice versa for other tools. Rather I need to re-haul the minerals the miners sell because if this si the case the miners are ripping off the blacksmiths... Also Quin I never got a paycheck and have 2 denarii...

But yeah overall let me fix things in the 1.8 update before creating a guild.

Yeah, the old price was 20 D. And, actually, I lost the book. Lava. Nuff said.
But yeah, I thought pretty much this would be a place were the miners get together, complain about miner related stuff, and then we talk to the appropriate guild about possible arrangements. Like, If we find that some of our ore goes missing, we might ask the military to place guards. Which would mean NPC's essentially. Or if the price we are paid for ores is too low to make a living off of, we ask the merchant guild about it. I figure this would be something like  the merchants guild, making a better life for the miners. But yeah, I usually forget the prices when I sell them. Except for the price of diamond. I sell that, and some other ores, and I just bugger the math and round down a few hundred. And, another thing. The diamond thing about it being spell forged. yeah, should be done, for the sake of the economy. I usually make a few hundred off of one diamond pick. More, even. Maybe something like the pick taking a day or two, maybe longer, to forge or something. Nerf it down a bit.

As it stands, blacksmiths can charge whatever they want, but most jobs are only worth 20 denarius

Port, Avol and Demon have created an entire set list of goods, services, and prices.  Let the merchants run themselves as the military and the priesthood run their own organizations.

Without Chief, or a present leader, the Military is basically in deadlocked. You heard from him yet?

No sadly.  I think that I am going to remove him from his position when next I see him, both his Legatus and Admin status.
