Map restart?

I was think that the maps should be restarted, for two reasons:

1. with 1.6, the grass only grows when you start a new map.
2. DEAP is screwed, and thats a big chunk of the players and a whole lot of land going to waste.

If DEAP is screwed like you say then people will start joining other factions. Theres no need to restart a map if a faction dies. That'd be like restarting if Novarium got destroyed, and when you say alot of land is going to waste. Do you mean that DEAP takes up alot of space and that if it dies that land will be filled with buildings, or do you mean there isn't enough building going on so not all the land is being used. Cause to answer 1. Worldedit and 2. We aren't a building server but you may mean something else. The main reason the map reset last time was due to not enough roleplay, roads and too many hidden cities. Also I doubt people will want to rebuild their factions HQ, outposts, buildings, spawn, roads etc. The first reason is quite bad tbh. Just use a hoe...

Errr idk the situation with the whole DEAP thing but the tall grass... really? Its not really that great. But demonizer in 1.6 you cant get seeds with a hoe only from tall grass. Meaning crops are now worth something. And should be conserved... interesting how that'll work out in the rp...

If we can't get seeds in 1.6 then admins will probably spawn the stuff. Anyway two small reasons aren't an excuse to wipe everyones hard work off the server just because a few people want a fresh start.

Demon, you misunderstood. You don't hoe the ground for seeds now, you get seeds from the wild grass that grows. Also, I don't think these are any good reasons for the map to be restarted. Realtively speaking, we haven't had this map for very long but it has a lot of good history and good constructions, destroying all that is pretty ibnoxius, especially for such arbitrary reasons.

Also, People could go to DEAP and overtake it and make it they're homes, like hobos with a left house.

Yea im with black star if DEAP crumbles the land becomes wilderness. people will pick it apart in no time and then it leaves a solid ruined city for RP and story
