As I wait for my application to be received, I found my self wondering how certain game elements are RPed in the Aceon world.
- How do our characters believe redstone works? Is it magic, or something else?
- Has the Aceon world invented the mine cart, or would building one be out of character?
- Similarly, are any advanced red-stone systems{read: large circuit systems, etc},
- I assume things such as mob grinders and mine cart boosters have no place in Aceon, I see no way to explain why my wandering merchant would build i giant tower to harvest monsters
- Do we know about the nether? Can that be filed under magic, or something else?
- Is there anything you can think of that I should be made aware of before my character takes his first steps on Aceon soil? Are there certain things I'm not allowed to do(besides griefing obviously)
Thanks, if there is anything I missed or something I should know, please let me know.

1. We just think of redstone as mechanics (probably).
2. Yes, we have minecarts.
3. If someone has built one, then yes.
4. K.
5. Yes, the nether exists in Aceon and it is believed to be magic.
6. There are 3 main cities and a couple of scattered factions around. I suggest getting to know atleast one of them, and joining one. It's not required though.

1. Redstone is Magic aka Runes
2. Yes, but they are restricted to people who have the Knowledge about them e.g. Miners, Wizards ....
3. Yeah
4. Yeah Minecart Booster's aren't added to Aceon, but there is a way to build boosters trough several Minecarts and tracks.
5. Yes Nether/Void/etc does exist
6. Read Zstans answer.
Any suggestions for my character's job? I see there are plenty of mages and soldiers, seems the farming and mining bases are covered pretty well too. Is there a service anyone would like my character to provide at a certain city?
Edit: is there any demand for soul-sand or glowstone?
