OOC: Joining up is pretty much done IC, i will just ask you one question and you are ready to go!

Hm.... good idea.
I'd gladly buy maps and other cool items from dungeons from you guys.
Sometimes maybe in bulk, for the military.
And maybe you could search in ravines and such for the new update.
I'd pay your guild a start of... 100 D to buy things, just that I get the first pick of what you find.
Anyways, good idea.

Lt.Azrael

Dude. Joining. I find crap all the time when I mine, and maybe going into new and unexplored lands would help my business.

HitMan5523

Sure bro, count me in this.
I'm hip! What are you talking about!

This isn't a mining guild.  This is a guild that explores dungeons and such, and loots the chests for the items (like cocoa, an item even admins can't spawn).  They will not be mining ore, or selling any regular items they may find in the chests (unless the merchant guild gives them the ok, and only for the selling of the items they find in the chests, not the mining bit).

Well if we do find ores i think it will be used for equipment, by asking the blacksmith of course so he can make it.

I think what Quin is trying to say Arch is that explorers don't usually have the skills to mine ore and when exploring, finding ore is guaranteed. Unless the Explorers Guild merges with the Miners Guild you can't be exploring miners, you can only do one or the other. But I suppose the miners guild explores anyway. Also you have to take into consideration that I have policies over who sells what to who in the merchant area. Non-merchants cannot sell anything to anyone at the moment and can only buy things. I class merchants as anyone who either; Owns a business in the merchant area or legally supplies any of the merchants e.g. miners and hunters. "Well if we do find ores i think it will be used for equipment", the explorers guild is not classed as any type of merchant like guild and therefore you would not be able to do this especially as you are not miners. The only thing I can think of doing is if I was to arrange regular shipments of exploration gear to you in return for payment of anything you collect in which I could donate to the other merchants. I am also willing to do that for any other guilds aswell as the military.
Awesomeness is the best trait one can have

Lt.Azrael

Well, wouldnt the guild need a miner for the Ore? I could go along with them, to help if need be. And, yeah, I think this would be fun to do. and maybe a smith could tag along as well. I think this is one of the things that should happen. Whenever a journey is going on, they (the journiers...I think that is a word) would bring some people along that would do the stuff the need. Like, if they run out of supplies, a miner grabs some stuff, a smith makes some stuff, a lumber jack (if there are any) grabs wood for the smith/people to make houses and crap like that. But, yeah, maybe Demon is right. I can't be both a miner and an explorer, as much as I want to.

You see, everyone can join not just soldiers, so if a miner would join getting the ores wouldnt be a problem. And giving us equipment could also work.

No Arch.  You cannot have soldiers who mine and explore, or miners who explore, et cetera, that goes against one of the very first rules I set down in the topic about new RP roles.  You cannot have classes that can do multiple things when there are already people who have dedicated themselves to a job, and will need to RP it correctly to keep their character alive.  If your group mines ore, then sells it to blacksmiths, then regular miners would lose out on business.  Your group is an exploration guild, you will explore dungeons and old fortresses, and sell to merchants the items you find within those areas.  However, that means only items that can be found in dungeons, like records, or saddles, or cocoa.  You will not sell iron bars, ores, food, et cetera, because then the entire merchants guild becomes destabilized.

If you cannot come to terms with this realization then the Explorers Guild will not become an actual group.

Well, what if soldiers would build a fort? We would have to down trees, or get coal, or forge. I think the military should have at least a few specialists, to organize the gathering of materials for certain tasks.

That or the military contracts citizens in the city with those particular skills, both to create more RP and keep the economy going.

That is a good idea.  So far the soldiers of Ermor are the only ones capable of utilizing armor and higher level weapons, but the Exploration Guild could act as a cave clearing team, and then guards for the miners(so able to use armor and weapons).  You never know.  I like all of these possibilities.

Ragolution

Yeah. Hire guards. What the big scary communist said.

Archangel94

Archangel94

And the first member, Hitman5523!

RanmaChan

Please make sure that you allow only the best roleplayers you can find to join this guild.  I also like your checklist, do you think you could add a roster as well?
