Havent played 3. 2 was good. Finally got skyrim, pretty good. Oblivions still my fav until further notice or, I get morrowind.

I probably liked Morrowind the best, though Oblivion was great to.
Get Morrowind, try it out. I'm not going to recommend any mods at first, play Vanilla. Afterwards, there's a long dead but still very classic and talented modding community that made some absolute great mods for the game.
