Misuse of Flags

;\ Will someone please enlighten me.. Apparently, Just because you don't have mercenary flags, Does not mean you cannot be a mercenary..

An example would be a stalker walking around his title being, "MilitaryGear|Merc|P99"


Or a STALKER with a title like this, "Shotgun|Trenchcoat|Bandit"

Exactly, you do not need a flag to roleplay a merc or bandit.

It's just if want to have starting gear also you have the right to be better in combat or stealing/ambushing(or whatever bandits would be good at). In my opinion, for stalkers and bandits, it should be something that admins should give to people who they think are "Experianced/Veterans/Master" enough and no free equipment. That free equipment should be for stalkers who were prepared enough to enter the zone.

No..Admin giving players the ranks of exp,vet and master wont work...donations would stop,and admins would need to observe players rp 24/7.

Did someone complain about someone not having flags as they played bandit/merc?

Honestly, any should be able to play a merc, but if someone wants to start off decked in gear (no overkill), they should donate.

Play as a low level merc and gain gear and rep. Donate and have gear but no rep.


Which reminds me, I should get my mutant flags one of these days. Been putting it off for the dear ol' Monolith.

STALKERS are kind of like mercs but really they are more like treasure hunters or adventurers looking for artifacts. They do jobs on the side to fund themselves but they aren't the same as the actual mercs who solely work for factions for money (and then take artifacts they find on the side).

I also love how Mercs are looked at as being back stabbing double crossers in SRP. I swear, no one trusts a new merc that much, and barely can trust a well known one.

With maybe an exception or two.
