S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay Population

Now since Dug has stopped bracing about his faction and that its our fault for the server economy being tucked up we can talk about. Ideas. Silver has told.me he may implement the new admin command. /goodrp name which would give players rubles for RPing well. Ideas like this will increase RP over scrap finding. Another suggestion would be totally redoing the scrap system by randomly spawning artifacts in areas with script spawned artifacts but in order to make this work traders would have to make money off it. So let's say you sell an artifact to a trader for 8000 rubles well then the trader should be able to sell the artifact in there trader menu for 12,000 rubles.

Two branches of admins would be incredibly helpful for the current situation and create a balance of power. The regulators would be the admins who could ban and kick and overall moniter the server. While the event admims would be the one with the secific job of creating events and stashes and overall promoting of RP. If two different branches in charge of this the server would see a lot more events and less fighting between admins.

Pretty much a good idea, although on the artifact spawns, people would get idea where they spawn, then camp for artifacts in it, sell for profit, and get a Sunrise after let's say, 4-5 artifacts.

Which is why admins being able to rp_createitem <artifcat> works better than actual spawn nodes since players can't camp when the artifacts only exist by admins placing them. Granted some spots will be popular artifact spots but it won't be as bad as camping known locations.

The solution to the camping is the anomaly idea, a large dangerous anomaly field would be between you, and the artifacts.

Maybe we could spawn a crapload of anomalies and put an artifact in between?

Except then people will physgun the the field and grab the artifact. It doesn't matter if the artifact is invisible, people will see the field and assume one is in there then physgun the fuck out of it. Yeah you could just remove the physguns from people caught doing it but the damage will be done if they get any artifacts at all

Make it so artifacts can't be physed.

This would work out VERY well, and would help the econmy alot. Good suggestion.

But it shouldn't be made easier either way. You would know by going in there you risk everything you have. If you manage to get trough the stuff, good for you.

What do you mean made easier? The anomaly fields will be scripted in, I.E. Silver placing the co-ords for the anomalies to spawn, and artifacts randomly spawn in the middle.

Your already "late" with your idea's btw plunger, ive already been coding a seperate artifact system based on the trash system. It's in no way done  yet as i have to develop the parameters on how the artifacts spawn at the spawner, when and what type.

I will be implementing that little idea about rewarding good roleplay.

Post in the proper forum and be specific, at what point does it crash at, does it give you an error message etc

Lower all the expensive items prices by say 30% for a month or so, so people can buy stuff and make profit off of it, and yet still get high level items circulating within the economy.

Oh my god, I came buckets. But all seriously, I hadn't seen that thread, and have already told numerous admins of this idea months ago. So it's probably coincidence.

No because that punishes players who aren't on in that month and also breaks the economy when a bunch of the people who spend 10 hours a day on SRP take their paychecks and buy FN2000s for their entire faction.
