About a year and a half past with no word from his brother or father.A month after Matt had givin up hope,his brother Derek returned. He was a mess.He said that there was no fortune in the zone and nothing worth anything.He told Matt that his father had been lost in the Zone. Backstory: Ivan Smith Grew up with his brother, Ramses Smith. They grew up in the zone. and grew up scavenging for food and weapons. Each day would go by slow as any other day, More and more Mutants would attack them and they would grow more week. On the 20th of August they were attacked by mutants, They pulled Ramses to the ground and ripped open his back while Ivan watched in terror, he jumped to the gun and aimed it and the dogs, His hands shaking. Shots were fired, but not by Ivan, But by a passing Stalker. His name was Rus Rabbit. And he taught Ivan what he knew.
When Ivan got to safty with the stalker, He was left on his own. The Stalker was heading into the center of the zone, To find his friend. Ivan got a job in the bar and began to help out the Traders who went by. He grew up and found himself looking for work. He always thought of his Brothers death and began to wonder about DUTY.

Kim was born in a small town near Kiev. The name of the town is Makariv. ( It really exists , check it on Google Earth :P ) Kims father is an ukrainian soldier, but he disappeared as she was 10. He was sent into the Zone one day, but he didn't return when his time was over. Her mother, Sonja, asked a General what happend to her husband, but the general only said "Missed in Action." She couldn't believe it, but she had to. Kim sweared to follow her father. She wanted to join the ukrainian Military and she wanted to be sent into the Zone. But she had to wait. Wait till her school was over... The time slowly passed. She finished the primary school, then finished the secondary school, even if she had to do the last year twice.

As Kim turned 18 she decided to sign up for the Army,  but she got denied with the reason, that her grades were too bad. She tried the police... With the same result. She tried again and again, but whatever she did, they didn't want her. She even tried to go to a better school, but they only said they were overfilled. Kim got pissed and applied for a job as Bartender in the ghetto of Kiev. She got the job, and with that she got on the wrong way.. She started dealing with drugs, was often seen in fights between groups and she even bought herself a weapon she kept under the counter in her bar. After her boss denied to give her more money, she simply decided to shoot him and noone cared anyway. But one guest heard them, or more like cared about her boss. He called for the police, but Kim ran away. That happend serval days after she turned 30...

She had no idea where she could go, she couldn't go back to her mother, the police would find her there... She couldn't go into a foreign country, the police sure would watch the airports... She just had one chance ... She would need to enter the Zone... Maybe she would even get to know what happend to her father... She took the keys of her dead boss and stole his car, driving towards the Zone. The police arrived at the bar a few minutes later, but she was already far away. She heard alot about the Zone. Anomalies, Monsters... Some fanatics worshipping a stone... Other fanatics worshipping weed... The Military and a Paramilitary group... She decided to let those groups be, as long as she wouldn't have any problems with those.

Day for day she searched the Zone, for her father, for artifacts... Even for a sense in all that. Two years passed, but she never joined a STALKER group nor one of the bigger groups... She just hated those idiots, staring at her like she was a wonder just because she was female. She couldn't remember how many of them she killed, just that she hated them... One week before her birthday, she found the dogtags of her father. Now she was sure that he wasn't alive anymore... It was hard for her to just survive three years, but she didn't think her father would have survived that long... Now she had no sense of beeing alive nor beeing in the Zone anymore, so she decided to search for the paramilitary group called "DUTY". She heard that they want to protect the outer world from the Zone... She wanted to do that too, seeing what the Zone did to her father and many others... So she started searching for them in the hope they would accept her.

Backstory:
I spent my early life working on my parents small farm in the Eastern Ukraine.  I grew up on bread, water, and story tales from my grandfather.  My grandpa had been in the Red Army back in World War II, and he had both horrible experiences and glorious battles to share.  Being my only form of entertainment I began to idolize our military.  Eventually seeking to create adventures of my own I ran away from my home at the age of 13 and fled to the city.
What I found was a hostile community lacking a middle class.  Still this did not faze me and I was determined to make something of myself.  I picked up a small job delivering packages to people for a small sum.  Then in the afternoons I would run off to the local hangout where all the kids my age were.  Eventually one of the kids offered to let me in his gang when I turned 16.  I was particularly amazed by the local doctors ability to mend the gangs wounds.  He noticed my fascination and offered me a few basic pointers and let me read his books.  I also picked up a minor hobby while in the gang.  Once I turned 18 I left the gang to enlist in the Military.
I was assigned the medical team in my time in the Military.  We were sent into the Zone not knowing what to expect, and there was no way we could have expected it.  The first few weeks were so nerve wracking it was unbearable.  We weren't even the heroes down here, our officers were corrupt, we took bribes, and hired "criminal stalkers" to work for us.  The whole situation was wrong.  A few years back some of the deserters had formed a more respectable group known as DUTY.
I found my way out and joined DUTY and fought for a greater cause.  Life in DUTY was good as the years went by.  Sadly my bad habit from my gang days caught up to me, and eventually I was snorting cocaine like no tomorrow.  Becoming more of a liability to my squad mates, the best thing I could do was leave.  In about two years worth of time I finally kicked the habit and got clean.  Going back for a fresh start I am applying my way into a new DUTY regiment.

What Are Duty?: DUTY are a paramilitary organization made up of STALKER's, ex-Military, and ex-Spetznas troopers.  Their goal is to destroy the zone, because if it spreads the dangers of it could damage the outside world.

Backstory:

Siran Yakavick was born and bred Russia, his father died a month before his birth and his mother died giving birth to Siran. Growing up as an orphan is hard but he was fosterd, by a Wife and husband eager for a child they were informed that Sirans parents died before he was born taking in this knowledge the couple talked to each other and decided that it would be best not to tell Siran about this untill he has reached a mature age to take this in properly.

Years went by and Siran grew older at the age of 16 Siran left school with not the best of qualifictions but still quite good well knowledged in mathematics and taking into his surroundings but still a bright child no doubt about it.

6 years later the boy was now a man and was still living with his foster parents with no job and no money, his foster parents had come to an agreement that it was time to inform Siran about his parents so they did. Siran did not take this as well as they thought he would and was realy confused like you would expect he was not the same after what he was informed on, the relationship with his foster parents was not the same any more and Siran was well out there reach at attemps to help him.

Months went by and he heard alot information of the Nuclear disaster in chernobyl and the rumors of a so called place the Zone where many man could become rich and wealthy, meanwhile his foster parents were focused on moving out of russia because of this. They planned and packed and were ready to leave but their endless attemps of trying to get Siran to come with them were failing and now that Siran was a man they could not control his actions and could not stop his from his goals. He focused on the fact that he could not stop thinking about this place were you could not loose.

His foster parents left Russia and Siran gatherd all the supplies he could - Water and food and other necessary equipment for his journy but no matter what no one can stop anyone from achieving their goals so he set his mind to the Zone and its amazing rumors and as of now he is there oh yes he is there and has still not given up on his dreams and hope within his soul.

Backstory:

Stefan Vasilov was born in the Ukraine to a father who had served as an engineer in Afghanistan. He grew up loving to fix things, tinker with things, and break things open to see how they work. He would spend hours in the basement working on some new idea or another.

At 18 he joined the military to follow in his dad's footsteps despite the sour taste Afghanistan left in everyone's mouth. He already possessed considerable talent in building and assembling things, the logical progression of those skills was how to destroy other things in exciting ways. He became an artist with plastic explosives, grenades, rockets, mines, and anything else dangerous and possessing a fuse.

After the 2006 Chernobyl explosion his unit was sent into the Zone to help quell the STALKER rush to the center. The helos dropped them off near the old Army Warehouses where they expected to set up a base of operations. They quickly found themselves under siege by an army of STALKERs and a group of anarchists that called themselves "Freedomers" who all wanted the sweet, sweet ordinance that the soldiers were now sitting on. Repeated calls to base for supplies, gunships, evac, or anything else to break the siege were ignored. It seemed high command had no strategy in place to deal with a situation like this and was content to let them die.

After nearly a month supplies and ammo were running thin and the surviving soldiers decided they had to leave. Under withering fire the soldiers escaped the Warehouses, only a fraction of the original group remained. Once outside the siege line they began to encounter new dangers. Invisible mutants with a thirst for blood and it seemed the very ground itself wanted all of them dead. Anomalies and mutants claimed the lives of many more soldiers until only a handful remained.

Repeated radio calls for help finally reached the ears of another similarly abandoned group who had set up in a place called Rostok. The handful of survivors trudged through the wilderness and finally arrived at safety. Upon seeing the horrors of the Zone firsthand, these surviving soldiers took it upon themselves to rid the world of mutants and the Zone altogether.

And in a nuclear wasteland, it pays to have someone who knows how to fix things. Stefan found himself surrounded by new projects and things to blow up. Maybe being abandoned isn't so bad...

Backstory: Dmitri was born in the year 1993 in russia. 7 years after the chernobyl disaster. He was born into a poor family. He grew up with a childhood friend Andrei Mikhailov. They knew echother since they where both 2 years old in 1995. When Dmitri turned 17 in 2010 he heard about the zone and its artifacts and its factions.Dmitri prepared to go there when he turned 18. In the year 2011 Dmitri Turned 18 his parents became sick and couldnt go. He had to take care of them for two years to help them get stronger again. When he turned 20 in the year of 2013 he could finally go. When he was about to leave his friend Andrei Mikhailov decided to come with him. When they got to the checkpoint there was military everywhere guarding it. They tried to sneak past the checkpoint until they where no farther then 30 yards from it. When a military guard yelled out "Someones trying to get threw the checkpoint!" In russian. Dmitri and Andrei ran towards the end of the checkpoint. A couple gunshots rang out and there was a thud of Andrei falling to the ground with blood coming out of his head. He took only one look  back and he ran until he couldnt run anymore. He passed the checkpoint. Dmitri Krukov's Journey has only begun.

Backstory: Ivan was born in Kiev. His father worked as a police officer while his mother didn't have a job. The young boy was never close with his father and they didn't know much one an other. He spent most of his time with his mother because there was simply no one else to raise him. At times he would have fights with his father as they never had the same view up on the world. While his mother remained neutral and perfectionist not to mention a person who would panic for any reason.

Ivan never liked that about his mother but remained cold and calm. The boy looked forward to the day he would leave the house and come to the zone that he has heard so much about.

He finished primary school and high school. He always placed his friends above the school and at times he'd go to a cafe with his friends and skip classes. He always knew that school isn't for him and while he was merely a child always imagined him self as a soldier. Seeing the world , carrying a gun and fighting for something worth fighting for.

The teenager he became was always interested in things that were, out of ordinary, super natural while keeping a same interest in being some sort of a soldier within the out of ordinary and the super natural. First he dreamed of being a pilot , eventually he realized it was harder than he thought. Then he decided it was the infantry life for him.

Eventually he reached the age of 18. Where he began to slowly unfold his plan and come to the zone. He had no idea what was waiting for him here. But he had to do it. He of course learned that to come into the zone it self, you have to risk your life to get by the machine guns. However, he had been saving money for a fairly long time and managed to pay the military to let him trough. It was about 5.000 Rubles that he payed. The guards at the cordon smiled and said "No stalkers tonight eh?" So Ivan ventured off into the zone and knew he wouldn't get into the military then he heard of Duty.

He began staying in their base, in their bars. Getting to know the dutiers better and their goal. Eventually, he decided to join them.

Sergey was born in Volograd , Russia in 1990 during the fall of the communistic rule in Russia. During the economic hardships that accurded during the fall of the soviet union in the 90's he escaped and fled to Urkaine on a train with only the clothes on his back. When he arrived to Urkaine he was in Kiev , Urkaine which he made a living and worked as a honest person. During 2006 while reading the newspaper he learned of the accurings in the zone and decided he would make it his mission to discover what the zone is. So he learned of a trader offering 'Tours of the zone' He paid for a tour and was left out in the zone alone with nothing just as he was when leaving russia in 1990. HE was back to the storyboard again when he learned of the hardships that was in the zone and learned to regret the actions he took that faithful day.

After traveling around with a small group of loners he went lone wolf after gathering enough supplys and soon learned how it worked and how to travel through the zone. He Offered his Traveling Services to other stalkers and that was how he made his rubles and living in the zone. He sometimes even lead some DUTY squads through Anomaly fields. One day he was bit by a lone dog that was lost from his pack and left for dead. Soon a DUTY squad discovered him and released him.

After staying in the Base for sometime he seen that DUTY was losing manpower and finances at alarming rate. He thought it would be a good idea to see if he could sign up for the DUTY to kind of repay them back for helping him out in his time of need so he would help them out in there time of need.

What Are Duty?:
Duty is a military-based faction in the ZONE founded by a military commando dropped into zone with the freedom founder. Both were left for dead in the ZONE and they both disagreed with each other on what the zone is about. Backstory:
   Dimitri was born in Kiev Ukraine, during the cold war. His father, was an  LT. in the Soviet army, and his mother; who he rarely speaks of was a nurse at the general hospital in Kiev. Dmitri rarely speaks of his mother, because she was seldom ever around; accept in the evenings to prepare dinner for him and his two sisters. Dmitri was especially close to his father, mainly because he was his fathers only son, and he would be the only one to carry on the family name; and follow in his fathers foot steps by joining the military.
   As a child Dimitri was always a adventurous boy, When he first turned 10 his father purchases him a .22 caliber rifle; in which he learned the basic skills of operating a weapon. Although he appreciated his father purchasing him this rifle, he was always more of a shotgun person. When he was a little bit older his father first took him hunting for ducks, and Dmitri fell in love with his fathers shotgun. The shotgun that Dmitri had so much admired, was his fathers military issued weapon; therefore he could not allow Dimitri to practice his shotgun skills very often. During his years as a teenager, Dimitri was one of the best shots in Kiev. His father entered him into a duck hunting contest, and sure enough Dimitri was the victor.
   As soon a Dimitri turned 18, his father rushed him off into the military, and Dimitri extremely exited. When  he had finished boot camp, they sent his straight off into the field. Dimitri was thrilled to be following in his fathers  foot steps, but this thrill stopped as soon as he experienced heavy combat. Dimitri new that it was not all fun and games, but he did not expect it to be this rough.
   Sure enough his father had sent his son off to the military, as a happy exited eighteen year off boy; but when he returned from war; everything went downhill. As soon as he returned, his beloved father came down with cancer, and died in the hospital that his mother had worked at years before. Dimitri went into depression, not only because if his father; but because of the people he had killed, and the horror that he experienced. His only alternative to the depression was to Vodka.
   He soon became a drunk, and had a large sum of debt. His debtors began to send armed men to collect Rubles from Dimitri, and this  all ended when He snapped on a collector. When the collector came in and demanded money, Dmitri had had enough, and whipped out his fathers shotgun and wasted the collector.
   After doing all of these bad deeds, Dimitri wanted a new start. He wanted to join back into the military, but they refused; They said he was too old. Although he was an older gentleman, he was still capable of holding up to the younger recruits. Dimitri had heard about a new place called "The Zone" and that it was a great place for a man to go to escape collectors. He decided that the  zone was the place for him.
   Upon arrival to the zone, He was very disappointed. It was nothing like he expected, instead of the zone being a place to thrive and make money; it was a complete hellhole. He was so displeased of the zone, he decided that he wanted to banish it; before it escaped to other parts of the world. He wanted to join the Faction "Duty".

Backstory: Waking up on 08/01/2010 (Tuesday) in the zone. The wandered, questioning how it was that he wasnt dead. Or the fact that he couldnt see out of his right eye, or how his leathery coat was now fused to his skin (Right arm only). Remembering back to when he was... More intact, he lived a hasty life. Making wrong choices, he was in debt, out of money and had no job. Residing in the outskirts of Ukraine, he lived there all is life. His mother died young, his father not around to care for him, he relied on school to pass his days. Eating at friends houses, he never learned how one takes care of himself. He graduated Highschool being used to having handouts. He was enrolled to go to collage, two years in, he dropped out. Unable to make back the money, he tried to gamble their money back. Greed took over his mind and he decided to keep gambling after he had won back their money. A sorry loss for the man. He had made the money back at the age of 26.

He began to become reliant on the gambling to make money. Having no skills developed in his childhood, he abused his luck, trying to 'win' big from the games of chance that were clearly helping him survive. He kept this up for 3 year. He began to live a good life; becoming cocky with his winning streak, throwing away money as if he had a steady income. Some shady people challenged him to a game of Texas Hold 'em. Stuck in the thought of him making hundreds of thousands of rubles, he found it was an offer he could not refuse. Accepting the deal, he waited until the meeting was set. The date was 07/23/2010. He showed up, and quickly found himself loosing. Lady Luck has finally kissed him goodbye. He was indept. Bad. He ran for 3 days. Unable to get away from them. They took blood inexchange. Knocking him out (then drugging him) they cut threw his eye and melted his jacket to his skin. Taking turns beating on him for days. Finally they game him the ultimate punishment. The Zone.

They left him there with nothing but a old, rusted Fort 12 (or whatever its called ingame) and 8 bullets. He woke up in a haze of wet damp ground. As he stood up, he couldn't open his right eye. Ignoring it. He wandered. The first people he found was a Dutier. Never catching his name, the man helped Muthiahs learn of where he was, and what the zone was. Seeming like the smartest idea, asked about joining DUTY...

What is the Difrence between RDM and S2K:When you rdming you will be punished,but when you and other side of the 'War' agree with s2k(shoot to kill) you can play like in shooters and didnt get punished.
