Biography: Simon spent the majority of his life situated within the confines of earth; his family was pretty average in most respects. He lived in one of the new city developments named new London built in the ashes of the United Kingdom, it was a relatively wealthy environment, tall corp sky scrapers, rich housing estates you name it. His family had a strong tradition in law enforcement, he figured because every other job around was either mind numbly boring or... mind numbly boring, their wasn't much variety. Law enforcement was by far the most stimulating option available to him; he submitted his application to the local precinct and was accepted as a prime candidate due to his high test scores and school grades.

Simon was stern and methodical with his police work; he never let anyone get away with anything that contests the law. This didn't make him many friends, but he was very good at his job. However, he started to notice that the rest of the force did not have his enthusiasm and love for justice, most of them were largely inept at their jobs, failing to do the correct paperwork and their arrest being set free.  There was only so much of this Simon could stand, before he had to do something about it, and do something he did. The good old way of bringing your complaints up the chain of command was a useless venture, because nothing would ever get done. Simon started to act outside of the law; he saw it as working for the greater good, not breaking the law. Police brutality was one of his most common activities, jail time was not much of a deterrent, but a beating from Simon Armitage was something to be feared among the criminal population.

He began to get carried away in his extracurricular work, making mistakes. His superiors managed to catch onto his activities and he was swiftly removed from the force, but due to his outstanding past police work he was not faced with any jail time. He didn't want his work to end there, so he sought work in the private sector, and joined a big time bounty hunting firm, tracking down criminal big wigs and the like. His work took him all over the outer colonies, as criminals tend to flea as far away as possible.

Several years passed, and he was offered a once in a life time contract by an unknown contact, the pay was extremely substantial. But this guy he had to track down was one slippy fellow. Took Simon 6 months to track him down, he found him on a small mining station in the Attica cluster. Unfortunaly he managed to slip away yet again, after a small exchange of gunfire, but Simon managed to implant the bastard with a tracking beacon, so that he could follow him away where. After a lengthy chase Simon followed him to a planet called Desertia, in the Xenon system. He found him in a backwater town called Gerian, however, all he found was the tracking beacon inside a skeletons ribcage. Simon was informed by one of the locals that he was ripped to shreds to one of the more hostile creatures that inhabit the planet. The bounty was for the capture of this man, not the death. So Simon was left in a rather awkward position, either report his failure to his contact and his reputation ruined, or say on Desertia for some obscure reason.
