And here I thought we could have a debate without the name-calling and mindless accusations.

Desertia is not, and has never been to my recollection, a simple "rebels vs combine" or "gangsters vs police" formula that so many "RP-DM" servers use. From my understanding, Close Endeavors is the security force of the town, and XEM consists of a bunch of suits that watch everything from some space station way up and out of the action. There's no oppressive government force besides GSAF, which rarely shows its face.

As for the other side of the law, there's mostly freelancers and outlaws, in a "wild west" style of play with a futuristic touch. There are terrorists and such, but those are outnumbered by the freelance citizens, and can't just waltz into town guns blazing without getting mowed down. Terrorists work like real-world terrorists would - in the shadows, and with guerrilla tactics. The weapons are outdated, because out here, shipping costs are high, so weapon dealers order the cheap stuff - archaic weaponry that's far cheaper to manufacture. Bullets still do their job well in this universe, especially out where no one's decked-out in power armor (again, shipping costs).

Desertia has inadvertently copied some ideas from Joss Whedon's Firefly. There's no war, no revolutions, just a group of people in a small town trying to get by.

During today's short "Testing", a few bugs have been noticed that should be quickly fixed.
Due to Col removing some content, current sweps have been turned into errors of doom.
And, the Night map of cscdesert is freaky.
Also, SEA OF FOG.
And alot of Cleric, alot.







Lets hope we find a fix to this map soon, cause its AWSOME.
Also, the sea of fog is not a bug, it was me being bored with the EP2 portal rift effect.

I don't recall any IC reason for us not to use CSC_night. The only reason we may not have used it was because we didn't know about it yet. And the Xenon universe has 1 large sun, but 2 moons. So, I don't know...
