An Idea that needs to be listened to.

The rant.

Lately we have been seeing a LOT of loss in the roleplay department, and I mean A LOT. This is for many reasons, some of them strange alliances, minging stalkers, Vityaz, Pew pew and many other things. EVERYONE, INCLUDING ME needs to smarten the fuck up. I dont want to see this community go the way of the last community I was in, with a gradual loss in admin power, and roleplay stability accompanied by a massive insurge of idiotic FUCKERS who join the server just to minge it, or who say they are new to roleplay and want to learn, but are just trolls in disguise that wait until they get a gun to go on a gun rampage. NOW I will say that there are some people who are good roleplayers, and are new, its not that they are new, its that they are just general assholes. This is what happens in a lot of communities, it starts off with the founding members, good roleplayers and the admins, then it grows, gets a nice player base, some people get admin, new factions are formed, some epic rp happens. THEN the decline happens, you have people getting bored with the community and people trying to troll it. When a community grows it faces things like new people, not always bad, but often assholes in disguise. Also, there have been some veteran members being minges. STOP THAT. You are vets, you've been through it all, dont end it here. You have a reputation to uphold, not just your own. Also, I try to make a non-combat faction for people called BEVA. It worked really well until they got pew pewed by some trigger happy people. Stop that, we are trying to roleplay, if you want to shoot someone go play counter-strike. Another thing, the script needs to be modified so that when you press shift your gun gets holstered, or cant fire. I'm sick of people running cirles around me with a gun while im taking cover behind a tree trying to keep it realistic aiming around the legs and such, and I get one hit after another to the head, it button holding rage. Im sick of people getting extra rewards for donating, I know that we need the money, but make it that the donation itself is the reward.

Solution:

Kick anyone who is being an idiot, regardless of status. We need to feel like a community again, how about we have a once a week or so day, when the server is passworded and you need to be a veteran member to join. The password would just be handed out to people who deserve it. Stop giving admin to people who donate, just because the donate. I think it's great that connor is getting us a server, and he does show some admin responsibilites and qualities. I definately DO NOT think that zaki should get admin. He has a biased vendetta against a bunch of people, and calls them names with no shame. That is not what an admin should do. I also want more admin power, I want to be able to change the OOC delay, mute people and do other things that you can do in ULX but not our limited admin system. I just wan to clean up this community. I know that all good things come to an end, but that doesnt mean that this has to any time soon.'

I totally agree, the once a week password thing is golden.

I want to make some more suggestions, remove the physgun and create applications for them, this stops minges from being able to phyminge, make them only able to apply when they have 20 or so respect.

Increase the gun prices and lower missions rewards. Make the price for a makarov 600 and only give 50-100 for mission rewards, in my case with artifacts, make the artifacts well hidden and hard to get to.

Allow only admins to give respect, this would reduce people from bribing or buying respect from other people..
