This topic is to display info on  artifacts, so people will know where they come from, and their rarity. Now, this will act as a "refresher" course for veterans and a learning experince for the newbies. So read on, stalker and stay alive.

OOC:This works just like the mutant topic, Physis and whatever other fields this would fall under, study artifacts brought in by stalkers. The field researchers with the help of stalker would go out and study the Anomalies that created them. Then after all said and done, this topic will be updated with an image and info on an artifact and its "mother" Anomalie. When an artifact that's spawned by an anomalie already told, the anomaile should be left out of the report besides it's name.

                                                                              "Pavlov's Report"
To the Ukrainian officials, this report is the first of many by my Science team in the Zone of Alienation. The report you are about to read is on an artifact commonly known in "The Zone" as Night Star. This oddly shaped  object has a shiny surface and colorful phosphorescent inclusions, which is composed of highly-compressed scraps of plants, soil and anything that happened to be within the striking range of the anomaly. Object with a shiny surface and colorful phosphorescent inclusions. The artifact generates a protective field around the bearer reducing minor damage inflicted on them but is highly radioactive. The effects of the Artifact make it highly sought after by military and sciencetist personal.

The Anomaly that creates this artifact is called "Springboard", which is one of the first types of anomalies ever recorded. A Springboard is an unstable gravitational field limited to a pocket on ground level, about 1-2 meters wide. Reacts to the presence of creatures or objects by sending out a powerful shockwave that damages anything within radius. The damage caused by these changes throughout the anomaly's lifetime, ranging from minor bruises through serious wounds to instant death. Springboards remain active for a week on average.

                                                                                   "Pavlov's Report"
To the Ukrainian officials, this is the second report on artifacts by my Science team in the Zone of Alienation. The report you are about to read is on an artifact commonly known in "The Zone" as "Flash". The artifact itself is translucent, amorphous object with light beams pulsating under the surface, which randomly generating miniature sparks of electricity. The flash is not a very rare artifact, but manages to improve your stamina and gain some resistance to electricity. The surprising part of this artifact is, regardless of its aid to physical health and to prevent a human light, is the safe level of radiation it gives off.

This artifact is "birthed" from an electro" anomaly, which is roughly 10 meters in diameter, accumulating large quantities of static electricity. When the "electro" anomaly triggered the anomaly bursts out in dozens of miniature bolts of lighting, causing electric shock to near lethal jolts for any living beings. Recognizable by the bluish fog hovering above it in daylight. At nighttime, the Electro can be revealed using any type of detector or by throwing metal objects into the anomaly. There is a claim one can somehow repair ones equipment by standing in the anomaly, with three battery artifacts in hand. There will be more testing on this rumor at a later date.

                                                                      'Pavlov's Report"
To the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this is the third report on artifacts by my Science team in the Zone of Alienation. The report you are about to read is on an artifact commonly known in "The Zone" as "Urchin". One of Kiev's defence research institutesare well aware that our suits provide the best defence against radiation. The secret lies in the fact the suitss are saturated with a lotion made out of a rare artifact. This artifact is none other then Urchin. The effects from attaching the artifact to ones self via the spines causes blood pressure to rises, this gets rid of a large amount of red blood cells, but along with them the stored radiation leaves the body as well. The ecologist Sahrov has noted fundamental work titled "Ionization and polarization of the components of rare artifacts" that the content of this artifact has critical stability and thus not realistic to create such an artifact in lab conditions within the next ten years.

The anomaily that creates this artifact is known as Burt Fuzz, one of the many examples of mutated vegetation. This anomly can only be found in the outdoors, compared to the other anomalies which can show up anywhere. Usually attached to telephone poles or trees, burnt fuzz reacts to approaching living beings by discharging a cloud of projectiles severely injuring uncovered or lightly protected skin upon contact. However, if one were to approach slowly twoards the anomaily, it would lie dorment. There is no theory why this happens, due to the zone's mutated animals never examined consuming this plant in the past.
