Does anyone else in this community have and play this game?
If so I'd love a tournament or something, we could record it and show everyone how much I own in a Spitfire, Lulz.
Online is very good fun when full of other people, it's quite hard too; I like flying the fighter-bombers just because they are generally faster and more powerful.

We had a chain of 5 people with their vapor trails on.

Oh I'm getting this game really soon. Looks great! I've been searching for a good combat flight sim and this seems to be it. If you can inform/recommend me of any other really good combat flight sims that would be appreciated! :D

Cobra told me this game is really good

Just got it, installing now. :P
Done installing and I have been playing with some problems. Mainly that my rudder is automatically turning to the left and I have not a clue on how to fix it! Help please! I keep swerving to the left and blowing up in to pieces of debris...

Check that your joystick is configured properly. I had a similar problem with my old Sidewinder doing that. Just recalibrated it using the control panel > Game controllers option and it worked fine.

I love this game maybe HGN should have a IL2 server? lol.

You sure? I was doing some reading and apparently the turning to the left is only in prop planes because of engine torque or something. It gets better when you are in the air. And it is nonexistent in the ME 262 jet fighter. So I guess it's just some realism I have to put up with (I think I may be able to turn it off though). Also my rudder actually is straight.

Yes with single engine planes since the engine can only spin one way the torque will pull you to the left but from the way you described it I thought you meant like you were stuck turning in tight circles which is obviously not supposed to happen.

Yeah I see what you mean.
Overall the game is really good so far. But I was wondering is there a key you can push in-game to bring up objectives?

I love it, and i have many awesome screenshots. ^^, i may send one later.
Its a very complicated game though, 100% control to everything. :D

Oh god another Plane flying stuff game! Kill me if they make another one >_>

You think this is hard try Lock On. Modern planes = manuals 600+ pages long  ;)

Are you serious? There's like 3 sims out there now and Il2 is one of the greatest ever. Piles of arcade crap like Hawx are not sims, they aren't even close to what IL2 is.

I want Lock On or LOMAC ):
