That's right.Basically it's a simple concept and easy to do.You dont need a big plot, or anything.

The difference between mine and yours, is that mine is actually between 2000 and 2009.It was supposed to be at this time of the world.Because the game would have more possible realistic war situations.
Hostile Conflict, in my opinion is a unrealistic situation.Cos send nukes flying all over the world would be retarded.

I don't like this.

Its like Halo RP (VRP) except... on earth.

Basically, Halo RP was, just do missions. No passive. Boom headshot, I killed an elite covenant. Yay I get promoted.

I don't see a lot of passive in this, and passive role-play is a must on a role-play server.

I tried to think about 'easy' ways to say this, but I can't do it. This is terrible. I should just lock the thread and laugh, but I won't.

Before missions there are patrols that are issued by NCO's and CO's
or just doing jobs at the base camp/base or talking to people.

these servers come and go. admins give up even attempting to stop people dming and then the servers die. its the circle of life for these type of servers. you might say im pessimistic but its the truth. and ifyou do continue do not et too attached.

Where would be the fun in that for half decent RPers who actally know how to gunfight like yourself. After all this is warfare.

This would either be TDM or "sit around and do nothing"

Read almost any biography or see any film about modern warfare (Jarhead comes to mind) and one of the quotes/ideas that comes up a lot is "War is 99% boredom and 1% sheer terror". Well if you made this mode 99% sheer terror (aka combat nonstop) then isn't this basically COD4 TDM?

For this there would be nothing to do while you weren't killing people, and that would get old fast.

Theres no nukes, and its not red alert, i just used that as a idea, but im thinking of  using two completely different factions, besides, mine is not roleplay its light rp and dm.
