Inventory Bug Fix

I was recently experimenting with this method and it seems to work quite well, haven't lost an item through it.

Remember this is just a theory though.

To try this simply name a character, "Inventory Save" or whatever you see fit and change to this character before leaving the server. You shouldn't lose anything since he doesn't have anything.

If someone else finds this to work please post here.

To be honest, the flaw in the system is that people put too many items in their inventory, and the datafiles just cannot cope with the shear number. If you want to avoid losing items, dont put more than 4 items in your inventory, and you might be fine.

You just say you make a new character, leave, and lose nothing because he has nothing?

I do a thing called Drop saving, where I basicly find a place no one will go to for 5 or 10 minutes, and drop all my items and pick them up, mostly one group of items at a time, say I have 10 bottles of beer then drop all the beer and pick it up, then say I have 3 pistols two of the same kind, drop both the two pistols then pick them up, then the one pistol, I drop my items on solid surfaces (Such as concrete or wood) since grass tends to have holes in the surface that will drop the items to the bottom of the map, after I dropped all items and pick them up wait 2 to 5 minutes, longer to be safe and leave, no item will be lost. for me at least
