Well today I took the executive decision to add the Hat Maker STOOL to the server. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's basically a stool that allows a player to take any prop and put it anywhere on their player model. Now hopefully, this is used to further roleplay, and not abused. If it falls under abuse, it will be removed.

Ideas for rp:
Attach red lights to your suckers eyes
Strap guns to your back
Backpacks
Cases
Whatever you come up with.

One of the great features is you can save your outfits. If you want everyone to be able to see your outfit and use it, save it to the server. PLEASE KEEP IT ORGANIZED. However, if you want to keep an outfit you worked hard on private. Save it to your client, allowing you to use it.

It's already abused. I've never used the stool before, but remove the props that are abusive, or set a certain size of the prop that is alotted, so it won't be to big. And disable client uploading if it becomes worse.

But I like stopsigns on my face... but seriously we can have it, we need to moniter it, and keep it under watch. And kick/warn/ban the abusers.

When a new suggestion like this comes up everyone says: 'OMG PPL WILL ABOOSE IT WE CANT HAVE IT'
If people abuse it give them one or two warnings then remove it from them. Tool-Trust that is.
Don't remove it from everyone just because one person fucked about with it, I can see that there's a lot of fun which could be had with this.
Here's a couple of ideas from me-
-Y'know that some models have flashlights strapped onto their masks an heads, add a light on that place of the model.
-Backpacks, water canteens, Slung weapons, Weapon holsters,  Gasmasks (Spare or worn), Sachets, Belt-accessories and such.

Is there a way to limit what can be used?
I love the idea that guns, backpacks and gasmasks can be attached, but if it's going to be used we're going to need some limits.

I have two different gun sets built right now.

One for stalkers.

One for mercenaries.

They are server side so anyone can use them and fit well.

Hmm, I think I may just add Hat Trust. In addition to having tooltrust, you have Hat Trust. By default, players will start with it, and then it can be banned from them.

It seems a better idea would be another application. Players always fuck around when they know an admin isn't on.

I took advantage of the Loner's built in holster to make a pistol hat for it. Whichever handgun I have equipped you will see in my holster.

And now I've finished with all slung main weapons, So I can mix and match between pistol and mains. Meaning I can have a SIG550 with a Deagle or a Vintorez with a Deagle and so on.

This toolgun addon is very mingable and fun in a way. But it can be obused to easyly. It can be useful for many rp situations but it is very very distracting since..well..it is fun. Also make take up alot of rp moments since most players just sit around putting guns on there pack for about a hour.

But it seems you people all want it. It may work out.....hopefully.

Applying works better, so they don't become minges to begin with and it's easier to have the trusted members stand out rather than all the minges, and it won't show a good rep for the community by showing all the bans.

I think we should trial it, put it on for a few days. See how it goes. If its bad, we remove it. If its good. We keep it.
