You mean it's not okay to (a) look at the scoreboard or (b) look at their name and rank before taking action?

Although loners on the server would look the same to us, in RL they'd all look completely different and who they are friends and enemies with would be apparent just looking at them, namely uniform, behaviour, recognisable faces, etc.
