STAFF GUIDELINES:

As a member of Reveris's staff, you are now a servant of the playerbase. It is your job to operate the server and care for it, as well as the players. You are to hand out punishments when rules are broken, and give help to players who require it. If a player is willing to learn, you will help them learn. If they are not willing to learn, try to help them anyways. You must follow the chain of command. Act within the boundaries put in place by the rules and within your abilities to improve Reveris in a positive and fun way. Understand that being a staff member is like having a job, and if you break the rules, if you abuse and exploit the system, you will be removed without hesitance. Your utmost objective is to provide a positive, helpful, fun and friendly environment in Reveris for the foreseeable future.

STAFF RANKS:
Administrator
POWERS/DESCRIPTION: You are given all of the commands a Super Operator and Operator has, with the addition of being able to op and deop players, use WorldGuard, manage MCore, and a few more things. The only difference between an Admin and the Director/Overseer is say in things. As you can imagine, this is a very tough and important position to handle and you may not apply for it, but if you are deemed an important member of staff you may be elected for it and automatically promoted. It is possible (however rare) for Operators to be elected to an Administrator position. To be elected, you must at have: served time as a staff member, have a strong grasp of the inner-workings and plugins of the server, and know what is expected of you.

Super Operator
POWERS/DESCRIPTION: You are given all the powers that an Operator has, with the addition of using WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, iConomy admin commands, and being able to break Lockette locks. You must be an Operator for two weeks before applying to this position, and any time further than two weeks increases your chances. You must have a medium grasp on the plugins used in Reveris to apply. Two Admin recommendations are required for you to apply.

Operator
POWERS/DESCRIPTION: Operators are given operator powers, which include being able to access Faction's Admin section, banning/kicking when necessary, changing names, using Essentials's commands, teleporting yourself and players, changing gamemodes, and muting people in chat. Use creative with caution and don't spawn in unnecessary items. You are trusted in this capacity that you won't abuse your powers, but it is understandable that on occasion it is necessary to use Creative. You are not given access to iConomy admin commands, WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, the ability to break Lockette locks, the /op or /deop command. You must have a basic grasp of the plugins used on Reveris to apply. To apply to the Operator position, you must have served at least two weeks on the Event Team. This is the entry-level position in the staff that you must apply for before you move onto Super Operator and/or Admin, if you so wish. One recommendation from either a Super Operator or Admin is required to apply. If you are accepted, you will act as a Trial Operator until it is decided you are ready to move onto being a full Operator. Think of this as a training phase.

EVENT TEAM GUIDELINES:

As an Event Team member, it is your job to cooperate with the staff to create a unique and interesting event/storyline to enthrall the playerbase with. Events may be suggested and worked upon by any team member, but ultimately will be executed by the Event Team Master. The staff may not interject into the Event Team and holds no more sway than a regular member, with the exception of the Director and Overseer. There may only be two Masters at a time, and Masters only leave their position if they get promoted, or removed. If you are expelled as an Event Team Master, you must start the process over again by applying to be a regular Team member. Besides this, you are given no operator commands and must ask a staff member to change your Gamemode to Creative (this only applies when you are actively working on an Event, otherwise you must stay in Survival mode). No recommendations are required for applying to either Team Member or Master, but they certainly help.

EVENT TEAM RANKS:
Event Team Master
POWERS/DESCRIPTION: As an Event Team Master, you are given more power over the lore and more sway into canonizing lore than regular Event Team members and in most cases more sway than Operators and Super Operators, too. When events are suggested to you, it is ultimately your decision whether or not to execute the event or storyline, and you may only be overturned by the Director or Overseer. From here, you can only move onto being an Operator if you so wish. You must have served as a Team Member for at least two weeks before applying to this position.

Event Team Member
POWERS/DESCRIPTION: As an Event Team member, you are the entry-level worker into the hierarchy of Reveris's staff (including Event Team and Administration Staff). This being said, you are also vital to the server and create spectacular and fun ideas for events and storylines with your other team members within the boundaries of pre-existing lore, and you are given more sway into the creation of canon lore. When working on events, you are given Creative mode, and in some cases full operator powers. You must be a member of Reveris for three weeks before applying to this position, and any more time will only increase your chances of success.

What is your in-game name:? BroStory
How long have you been a part of HGN?: Since near the beginning days of Aceon. I can't really put a date on it. I hardly post on the forums though, since I could talk to Ragolution for anything I needed back then, but I can say that I'd be a lot more active now since I'm playing on this server.
How long have you been a part of Reveris?: Three hours, but I can already see this server has a ton of potential that the previous one hosted on here never had. I did play a lot on Aceon, however, and contributed much to the building efforts for cities and towns.
Past experience (if available)?: Most of my past experience has been on games other than Minecraft, but I have plenty of experience handling communities. I was a guild leader and a raid leader on World of Warcraft for three years, and managed a core group of about thirty people while solving drama between members while progressing and clearing the current content at the time. As for other experience, I only have a tad of real life experience I was essentially class president in my high school, and helped lots of students around that time.
What is your current position? (if applicable): Member.
What position are you applying for?: Operator.
Why do you wish to apply?: I believe I can bring a lot to the Minecraft server here through helping kickstart the community through aiding new players and assisting in whatever tasks may be required of me. My only difference between what the server expects of me and what I prefer to do with rules is that I highly prefer reformation over kicks and bans. I find it important that a player knows why they broke the rules and how to change or fix the behaviors and actions that caused it. But of course, action does need to be taken in repeat or more extreme cases.
How often can you serve as the position you are applying for?: As often as needed. My schedule is fairly open and I plan to play on this server at least on a daily basis, and serve as an active member of the community, operator position or not.

Past experience (if available)?: I used to moderate for a light roleplay server years ago. I did that for about a month, until the server changed over to a survival/creative server.

What position are you applying for?: Operator
Why do you wish to apply?: Because I've been putting a lot of time and effort into the server. I've been helping with the advertisement of the server. I'm on at almost all hours of the day. I've been helping new players coming to the server to the best of my abilities and I just want to be able to have the power to help them further.
As well, it seems that as of late, I'm the only active person on the server and it would be useful to have me as an operator if any new members come to check us out.
