Background:
A simple man born in the woods of this world, a woods with no name as its population was small was well spread. He lived rarely ever going out to towns and such as normal necessities could be found in the forest with ease as berries and lumber grew with great haste and flourished. Though being a man of exploration he soon found him self fascinated with all the wonderful things in the towns he visited ever so occasionally and began to practice his own engineering with tinkering. Even at the early age of five he was working away to make simple water pumps and sewage drains. This quickly went advanced to electrical systems and steam powered equipment with only a few years. His talents hidden away in the forest were never really appreciated as most around him thought it was silly and had no interest in his inventions. At the age of twelve after dealing with the carefree attitudes towards technology that surrendered him for seven years of his engineering life he ran off in a huff in search of great minds such as his.

Within a year he found the Society of Engineers that welcomed him with open arms and soon made him own of their own. He then spent eight years of his life simply enjoying the company of these great engineers learning all he could, but even still his heart longed for his home and when he had depleted the library of recipes or theories to read he quickly hasted off back to where he originated in search of his family. This took longer then expected though as eight years leaves a big hole in ones directional memory as much can change. This journey took him a whole two years to complete.

Though once he found his old home he was drought with pain as the whole area had been corrupted by a foul environment, the ground crusted red of a blood rusting color and the trees withered in pain. The houses that had once stood now burnt to the ground with only a stone formation to show where they had once been. Filled with overwhelming sadness he quickly retreated from the unwelcoming mysterious environment in search of a place he could call home. Where he could start anew.
Help for hire! Seriously ask me for help, I need things to do.

I like the format.  Simple, vibrant, but not blinding.  I also see a few similar sections to mine... I'm sure it's coincidental.  Anyhow, I like it so far... *mumbles to self*
I choose my cage and accept my prison, but I will always hold the key.  All you can do is create the obstacles for when I go free...

Oh I just read yours, well just happens to be that there isn't many nice simple color schemes
