RUNESCAPE!! oh i mean Hi

K for awhile now i have been trying to teach myself how to make stuff in gmod (no not like welding and stuff) i want to learn how to map and create Npcs, sweps and Models but to tell you the truth i have no freaking clue on how to. So can anyone Help me learn how to do stuff like that so i can at least attempt to make something good?

Once you open hammer from source SDK and press f1, Murlocs will help you to build your first map from the Murloc wikipedia known as hammer wiki thingy.

I just launch hammer, and press all the buttons to see what happends. I always end up with awesome cube maps. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Hammer - Perfect tool for mapping , rather easy to use but might get complicated if you create huge map.


3D Studio Max - Perfect for modelling (Complicated)

Lua/scripting - Notepad and 1/3 of brain needed.
