This could be possible. And interesting. I know there are quite a few of the models out there. I just wanna see your input on this. Good idea?

Ehh. I guess its a good idea. It would be difficult to get all the models. And a map for it. A nice feature would be with custom NPCs and the NPC AI addon, in which they like form squads. It would be nice...

There is a space marine NPC, along with a bolter and tau rifle swep. Low quality, but you take what you can get.

RP is what you make it. If you say that something will just be a DM fest, it's a sign of a bad roleplayer. Make it so it's not. I can think of a lot of things to make it fun.

If we look ta this in the sence of the canon, there would be a DM fest going on, theres no need (expect Imp guard) for troops to be send out on peace keeping missions. But ofc we still would bae to bend it in some way to get RP going.

And if new poeple come to the server expecting it to be DoW thay would expect a large amount of PEW.

There are citys not distroyed in the whole franchise, there could be lots of passive.

It would be odd to roleplay, unless all of us Imperium (Imp guard and Space marines) or Human of some sort.

Looked on Garry's mod.org and Facepunch, all I see are low-res imperial guard soldier model, 2 space marine models, 2 tanks, a sentinel, and an eldar ship.

It would get old fast if all you roleplay as are Spacemarines and Imperial guard.

sounds awesome :D rocky mountainmap= BIG BIG BIG as BIG as it can get and then high high high mountains and such things to make it look like the first maps in the Dawn of war 2 40K game.
it would be awesome with some Alienskins and stealth thingies :D but ofc Much of the mod should rely on STK and such because you cant RP with aliens :3 but it would be awesome

Dawn of war RP- Fail.
There's barely any content available, nor do we have the skills to make detailed complex models that resembles DOW characters.
All it would be, is 24/7 Spacemarine RP.
