For four days straight I went on Aceon for over three hours at a time and then periods of five to ten minutes after that initial three hours. Not once was there another person on the server, I normally spend around an hour wandering around trying to encourage people to get on because someone is online already, however, four days in a row of it being just me has led to a large disappointment in the server... Maybe if we made an effort to welcome new people to HGN and not just the server, they would see we aren't as rude and obnoxious as we seem; but it would probably enforce the idea... Maybe the way all the factions are so spread out and many are hard to find has not helped? Perhaps we need a return to a more enclosed environment? I don't know. I just hope that some time next week I will see a number that is not a '0' when I look at Aceon on minecraft...

I have asked people, repeatedly to recruit new members- hell I made it somone's job at one point in time.

This week I am reducing the world size to 5000x5000 and even that may be too big.

The server has no blood flow and while we hemorrhage players, no matter what we do, we no longer have any influx. We need to advertise and we need to recruit and it can't just be me. I don't care if you've tried to get your real friends on Aceon, we need MORE PLAYERS. We need players from the internet- people we DON'T know. This is the only fuckkng way to fix Aceon.


So start recruiting or start gravedigging.

I guess I'll try to... I don't know. I have no social outlets nor people from real life I like enough or even care enough about to invite to Aceon, and while I've been inactive it's because I don't find joy in Aceon anymore. If we can actually find players who don't ACT like eight year olds then it'd be enough for me.

I haven't been doing much. School work has been occupying me, but its very minor. I have been off role playing on other platforms and servers. I'd do an event, but you know, Aceon has an argumentative spirit, and things will be disagreed with.

Don't get me wrong here but I really liked the layout of Viosk. I know Quin built it, ran it and put a giant ass library in the middle of it but the system and design was something I really liked. Obviously it was too small for being made into the server's main town but I thought it was pretty good (forget everything Quin did to rule or ruin it, I'm thinking the actual look and style). I guess Ermor was like it too, I joined then so don't remember too much about it but yeah Ermor (if I remember correctly) a much smaller CoG and Viosk would be a number of things I think might work well.

I like this idea, but without a playerbase that actually stays for more than a week this server will stay dead. Like someone (I think CP) suggested, we should probably advertise on other sites and possibly, maybe get people from other HGN severs and sections to help. I'll try to get active more, but like Maxi said I've been doing other stuff.
I hope Aceon get's a sufficient playerbase, and like James said, get people who can actually RP worth a shit.
