It'd be nice if some admins could spend some time renovating the spawn area so it more appropriately demonstrates the basics of the server, including building rights.

Yeah, its just because of the minecraft update. We did have one. It just needs to be built. Money is /money pay *insert name* *amount*.
And /money to see how much you have, I believe.

Not a bad idea. In fact I think we may have to. Here's why:

There is a fundamental problem with using emeralds alone as a currency. You can trade with NPCs to buy, but you can also sell. I hope Notch makes emeralds more common underground or fixes the balance of the exchange rate, because they're easier to obtain by trading with villagers than they are through mining--and the villagers rip you the fuck off when you buy stuff from them. I do not feel that what they charge is fair exchange in either direction aside from selling 20 wheat for 1 emerald, or 1 emerald for some cookies.

oh man, you mean to tell me you have to actually trade goods to get currency, and not just find them while you're digging straight down? I am just shocked by this revelation, also Jeb works on Minecraft more then Notch,nso Jeb would have to add it. Do you even lift?
