 You're over-thinking this way to much. Sure, I did take a stab at you once in guideline four. But if I truly wanted make a thread that was to insult you then I would have done it outright, not spend an hour and a half writing down this shit.


  Yes, i know Dark RP doesn't work, it's quite lame. But there is a difference between dark RP and laid-back RP. You don't have to over-think everything. Because then it stops being a game and starts being politics. Politics don't belong in games.


  I have lost interest in RPing on here for months now, yet I have masochistically stayed. Want to know why? Even though almost all my old server friends are gone, an admin would rather do away with me, and the the game is so political that it's not fun anymore, I have still been able to hold onto one last reason to stay: I want to see this server work....


  That's why I defy you in every way I feel needed, quin. It's because you let politics into a game, and that will eventually be the end of the server. In a best-case scenario, the server will be filled  with people who are too ignorant or apathetic too care. And when that day comes.... well I'll probably be off doing other things, whether it's on another server or I finally have a life and don;t care for video games anymore.


P.S. maybe I should have stayed out of the politics of the server, but it's too late for that now.

Serious question. Not trolling. I've been wanting to visit HGN's Minecraft server for a while now, but I've been busy with FRP and I really don't know know what the Minecraft server is about.

I used to run a Minecraft server, but I just got lazy in upkeeping it. Plus, several massive terrain changing updates later, it just looked silly when we spawned new land. Tell me what the server is like. I want to hear honest opinions from the players themselves, unedited.

To be honest, the server itself is a bit spread out and dead at times, but if you fall in with others, it'll be fun enough. MC in general is okaaaaaaay, but mods are needed for a extended play through.

The roleplay is okay, especially if you happen to live in Viosk or, be an Ent from Everglade. Those Ents are really peeved htat that big 'ole dead forest is spreading there way and, their gearing up to stop it. Viosk.... Well Viosk is Viosk, its always had a fare amount of roleplay mostly because its the most well kept of the towns (No Zombies/Bandits) and, its farely close to spawn. The other places dont really matter, Stillwater is trashed, CradleRock is just about to curl up'n die in my opinion, and Stonehelm's lava gate is broken. But hey, thats just Taco, noone listens to Taco......

P.S. Plus, Pappy Portkins is gone most of the time so, we are lacking a father figure....

I enjoyed my time on Aceon. The bit that always makes me wish I could back though, is the fact you can create whatever you want. (Within reason) It's usually the part of other games that offer roleplaying that is lacking.

Server's currently in a rut because I announced a map change waaaaaay too early and now everyone's all distanced and like "OH I DON'T WANT TO X IF IT'S ALL GOING TO BE GONE ANYWAY"

The server is indeed up (thanks Port and/or Silver). There must be something wrong with your client. Check to be sure everything is in order, Spoutcraft, version, Java, ecs.

The server is altogether generally active, sporting a flux of few to up to 15 players at a time. Rp is excellent when it gets going though players are no stranger to the frequent bouts of ooc banter sometimes. At the moment we feature one full city and several faction bases with lower population numbers, a variety of races, and a story plot I believe in nearing it's conclusion.

Concluded I'm sorry to say no one on here can give you a perfect idea of how the server is, but we would love to see you on to make an opinion of your own as I'm sure our mods are open to wholesome praise and constructive criticism.
