Gmod bug of the year

This is something i wrote in another forum aswell, so im reposting it so i dont have to rewrite it all.

Garry Newman and Valve hates me,
Garrysmod crashes before it even starts up
Ive restarted steam 4 times.
Deleted the local game content 5 times
Verified the integrity of the game cache.
Defragmentated the cache files.
Removed my garrysmod folder
Reinstalled every game that got content with garrysmod (TF2,EP2,EP1,HL2,Portal,CSS)

So..... It seems i can never play garrysmod again

What this basicly says, my break just got longer......
If anyone really think they can fix this problem
POST IT NOW! THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

The bug is when i start gmod it goes "hl2.exe has stopped working"

Oh yeah, i also earned an achivement.

Reinstall steam, and see if that works, else we shall have to see...

Well, ive fixed the problem, after reinstalling Steam on another hard drive and that didnt work and i were on the edge to give up, then some guy told me to type in on the launch options:

Code Select Expand

-width 800 -height 600And that fixed it.....
Apperantly my problem were resolution, i had earlier changed my resolution to 1440 x 900. and Garrysmod couldnt handle that, and therefore crashed before starting up.
But cause of this bug ive been concentrating a bit more about my life, so i wont be as much active like ive been before but im always on steam.

Remove HL2.exe and run the game.

WTF ! i have a 1440x900 and it never breaks for me NEVER.This is a pc video card problem prob.Or something.
