Is it true?

Is it true that controllers can't run in-server? I've donated for pro on the day the servers derped out on us, not exactly sure what to expect when I get a controller. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed.

What exactly are the downsides of playing as a controller in-server? Unrelated question, are snork flags even made yet?

Also, is it true zombified stalkers receive no starting gear?

Zombies do not get gear unless an admin wants to arm you. However, you're not entitled to starting gear as a zombie. Controllers are hard-coded to not be able to run, because they don't run in the game even though lore says otherwise. And no, the snork has never been finished.

So is playing as a controller very... tedious in the server? Seeing as it's a rather large map.

Isn't it very easy to escape from a controller via lolrun in the server as well?

Controllers have a pretty good range with their attacks, and an ungodly amount of health. However that point is why I don't hang around above ground very often.

Controllers tend to be on a 'Shoot first' basis for most stalkers. So, I'd say avoid going toward groups or generally anyone you won't be able to corner.

Also, prepare for shit storms if you play as a Controller.

The controller swep is stupidly overpowered and the model itself turns your screen opaque and blue within a 500000 mile radius. Combine that with the fact that in the best case scenario most of the guns are not precise enough to land hits on a controller outside of that blue screen rape and you have a flag that people will hate you for using. You don't need to run.

Are there any sweps or anything to make the player focus on the controller's face, like in STALKER? I've heard this in Steven's rant thread, but I'm not sure if this was roleplayed. (Most likely not)

The mind blast. Works just like the NPC in the Stalker games. It force-focuses you to the controller and drains a good amount of health.
