Hopefully this will answer any questions. Notch is experimenting with dual wielding, minecarts may also be "lava boats" they're planning on being able to upgrade and improve tools and weapons. stronghold bosses are a possibility. blah blah blah...there is too much stuff to cover. so just look at it for yourself. some of the features listed on the page are just ideas, or are currently being tested, others will be released in a later version. but ALL of these have been mentioned by Notch, or another Mojang employee.

I am actually really looking forward to the needing food to regenerate health, part.  I think that would actually really help the RP on the server.  I don't know if requiring sleep is going to be added (I just heard it on the server randomly), but that sounds interesting too.  The other thing that I find really cool is the experience/leveling up bit.  I want some cool new abilities!  Lol.
