Difficulty

Are there any plans to change the current difficulty to Easy or Normal,or even,dare we enter the land of Hard difficulty?

There are some points I'd discuss about,but first I need to know If Its even being discussed or planned.

Perhaps we should have the server changed to a certain diffulculty like easy or hard on a day most people show up, so that we can get those materials.

OR you ask for the materials you can't usually get OR you go searching for dungeons to get the materials, therim... Back to the difficulty thing; I certainly wouldn't mind it. Heck could be very interesting to have some hostile wildlife on Aceon. I'm all for it but I'm guessing it's been brought up before and theres a reason we haven't incorporated it onto the server yet. It would also make people more cautious of where they jump and stuff but people have been known to accidentally hit someone in the past and kill them... I'd be annoyed if that kept happening seeing as we wouldn't regenerate health. Therim also raises a valuable point, perhaps set the difficulty to normal/easy one week and then peaceful the next to give some fun rp? It means farms become more useful and we can arrange mass hunts and things. Just some thoughts but it seems people have abit to say about it, I've discussed it on the server with people before and usually they've been up for it. I no longer see a reason why it shouldn't be allowed.

Wont be able to discuss much. I've to go tommorow for roughly two-Three days. And I've to get my pack ready,and arrange some things for my Gramp. Hope this turns well!

Exactly Demon! the only part about dungeons is: there is one every ten chunks. I am sure there are more people than there are dungeons in the boundries of Acceon.

Also people might be against a week of doom, I was suggesting that the weekends would include baddies. I am also pretty sure that faction areas count as peacefull areas, and you can hide in them for health.

Uhm.

Yeah, claimed areas prevent monsters spawning.

Uhm...

Safezones, too.

I don't want craters in my walls.

Really.

I guess.. I could turn creepers off, somehow... Uhm..

Check my to-do list.

You could nerf the creepers so they still do damage but they do not break blocks.

Back in the day, when the monsters were turned on, creepers were scripted so that they did not make big craters.

In Mo'Creatures, you dont fear Creepers anymore, instead, you fear that trolls will mine their way through your walls :P

So.. i just came on to the server i've not been on for like a couple of weeks.. so i walk around and explore and it becomes dark, anyway.. i was being chased by atleast 4 zombies and 4 skeletons.. I do not remember that we changed the difficulty from peaceful to easy/normal/hard. When did this happen?

About a day ago. We had a vote and it ended largely in favour for monsters to be turned on.
