New Duxbury (Non-existant)

Note that this is a WIP and is only just a rough draft and a main idea of the settlement.

   A settlement has emerged in pre-war Massachusettes in the year 2240. It was founded by a man named Andrew Copley who is related to one of the most influential artist during Colonial America. Andrew Copley was a farmer of stable agriculture such as beer, wheat and oats. He was also a fan of Pre-war history and paid top dollar to travelling dealers that had antique muskets. He was so into Colonial America that he even spoke like one.  Andrew Copley stable agriculture started to attract many people to his farm since people thought they can get in on the business. Being a nice guy, Andrew Copley gave some people space on his land and some seeds to start growing.. A few years later Andrew Copley was able to form a community with the neighbors and after a while the neighbors began to adapt to the language Andrew Copley spoke in. The community lived fine with a few ups and downs such as bad harvest seasons but all was fine until Raiders called Redline Riders from the north came and terrorized the lands. Andrew Copley grabbed a Brahmin and a wagon and threw his collection of muskets and his hunting rifle, and some seeds and alongside of many neighbors they moved south where they settled in Duxbury. The settlement began to establish in the town and they began to rebuild the abandoned town back to its old Glory. Andrew Copley gathered the citizens of the town and had a meeting on how they should run the settlement. They all decide to base their society off pre-war American government, Democracy.
   The government works like this. The people vote for their Tresuarer, Sheriff and Governor. The Treasuarer obviously takes care of the money. The Sheriff maintains the peace in the town. The Governor is the overall ruler and is the Commander of the Militia and can propose laws and propositions. The People vote for the propositions. If any of the three become corrupt the people may overthrow the person. The term for the three jobs are a month however, they can be elected again. Every week, a meeting is token place and a survey is done if the people like the current Treasurer, Sheriff, or Governor. If the people do not like one of the three, the person's/persons' term is shortened and given two weeks to redeem themselves.
                 After many years, New Duxbury thrived. Many wastelanders, far and wide came to taste fresh ale from New Duxbury. They even made trade routes with other towns. Of course raiders came and attempted to steal New Duxbury Ale however, there attempts were stopped by a strong militia and the crime rate was low from the citizens (the travelers were a different story). Many years later a force from the north came and began to harass New Duxbury. Raiders torching New Duxbury walls was common and that repealed travelers which brought the New Duxbury economy down. Once the economy went down most people part of Militia quit because they weren't getting paid. The raiders took advantage of this and raided the place of everything. After that, the raiders retreated back to the north. Now it is time for New Duxbury to come back. A new leader has been elected. Ironically it is Andrew Copley's son Ben Copley.
   To become a Citizen you must fill out a form and then be approved by the Sheriff, Treasurer, and Governor in a vote. A citizen requires at least 2 of the people to approve.

On a constructive note, I'd like to say this faction sounds somewhat like Boones. Hopefully it doesn't go inactive like Boones, though. GL.

I don't see how this is like the boones but whatever.

On a different note, since we are nearing wipe (if we ever do wipe), I am going to make an application for two of the job positions (treasurer and Sheriff). I will be the first Governor to set as an example of how the faction should be run.
