I cant join any hgn servers. can i get a little help?

I cant seem spawn in any server running nexus i think the server needs a restart but im not sure could i get somebody to help me out on what to do?

Hrmm you restart your Pc and wait awhile and such? I get the same problem once in awhile.

I guess that didint work i waited a day and nothing. Do you have any other ideas? Should i delete my garrys mod folder or somthing?

Yeah, maybe that will work, just delete your Garrysmod folder (after uninstall) then re-install gmod and then re- download the SRP, FORP, and other packs that you need.

Connect to a different server then try connecting to a HGN server.

Okay so i have been looking at a few posts and i found one with my exact problem and it seems that i actually have to re-install gmod so i will try and delete my gmod folder. though could somebody tell me what to delete do i delete the garrys mod folder or the garrys mod|garrys mod folder?

I don't exactly know, but i would just delete you gmod folder, so if there are any mods / add-ons that you like / need i would write them down, then uninstall, then delete folder, then re-install, then finally re-install the add-ons and then you are doen and should try to connect.

the laptop keeps saying that an unexpected error is keeping the file from being deleted the error code is Error 0x80070091: The directory is not empty....wut do that mean?

I have no idea, I think it might mean it is protected or something and cannot be deleted, or it is being used. I do not know, sorry, so I am probably wrong. Please someone, correct me, since I know i am most likely wrong.

hmm mabye i should physically go into my gmod folder and delete the shit in there? or would they all be gone for good?

Just rename the folder so instead of deleting everything you may want to save, it will just create a new one. Simply rename your garrysmod/garrysmod into something like garrysmodbackup or garrysmod2.

Start up GMOD and it will make you a new garrysmod/garrysmod with no stuff in it, as opposed to reinstalling. Reinstall the content pack and try to join now.
