I had an idea, perhaps people could claim buildings in shady oak, and put stuff in there. Only for people with TT/Props or with admin consent and a payment of 25-100 caps a day or 1000 caps to buy it. If you want it bigger you'd have to contact Blake or Mayor and pay the mayor a certain amount of caps for your add-on. You could store storage boxes, trader closets etc. in these. I found it looked neat but a lot of people can't see it so, I don't know.

While you are on the server yes. You cannot just say "I own this house for ever and ever and no one else can come in even when it's 2 am and I am asleep".

Well, the thing is I might become a trader in the future. So, I want to open up shop there.

You still cannot say "This is my building and no one can come in it."

The only way to even get storage boxes and trader containers are to donate or pay about two thousand plus caps for one. You can't claim houses because whenever youre not on other people will be able to take your house.
