Steel Town is hereby abolished.

It is also hereby removed from the lore, and considered "Null"

No refunds.

Why is it abolished? By the way, I lol'd at "No refunds"

Why not , atleast people will actuall come to my PBG town to live there and not pay uber high rent to the Brotherhood.

That's why it was abolished. To make wastelanders stop being idiots and form their own town to keep the Brotherhood from amassing a huge nonsensical, noncanonical wastelander army/city. So traders please go set up in Still Water or one of the other wastelander towns so we can get the wastelander faction going again to replace the FRA.

Actually no.

It was abolished because I don't like it. Never did.

Whatever repercussions come/came from abolishing it were ignored.

The FRA taxed people to get in, when there was basically nothing there.  We had a free flow of people in and out of the city, but to actually rent a house you had to pay 10 caps.  At least in this case they were actually getting something and owning something.

I remember being tolled 100 caps at the FRA city, then being shot.

With Steel Town I was just trying to make a place where Wastelanders could go without fear of being killed by Jake's Slavers, or Blake's Bluegress Bandits, or Paintcheck's Enclave, and where they could actually get something for their buck, a house with a bedroom, bathroom, and living room.  The 10 caps then went to buying items off of Wastelanders for them to actually sell their useless goods as they came in.

Oh well, its over, and I don't mind.  I just don't like the fact we have to kill Wastelanders now.  Kinda makes it seem pointless to be one (a Wastelander) if everyone kills you.

BoS don't need to kill wasterlanders. Unless they attack you or have technology you want to acquire from them but can't get by any other means.

Though, you need to figure out what is worth killing wasters for and what you can ignore. Simple ballistics and armor are worthless to you. But laser and such are.

As for Steel Town, BoS would not care for sheltering wasterlanders, nor should they care about what happens to them elsewhere.

Once the teleports are up, Steel Town will hopefully become a PBG town. Just like Still Water. We just need that advertising up.

Someone wrote on all the walls in admin text something along the lines of, "the Brotherhood will kill you if you get any closer."

I thought we were still able to trade with Wastelanders?  It is a lot easier to buy the tech from them, and people yell at you a lot less.

Also, the Brotherhood will kill who is pleases, if we have a good enough reason for it IC.  We weren't nice to the Wastelanders because we wanted to be nice, but because it suited our purposes to be.  If someone pisses us off enough, we don't hesitate to make them an example.

Rag wrote the text I think. He didn't want wasterlanders walking into the gas station for now.

And I said that you should only kill if you had a good reason. Such as getting worthwhile tech from a waster who won't trade for it.

wait what
Blake.H: And im also working on whipping him into shape
Blake.H: He's nice
Blake.H: He doesn't moan
Blake.H: The sheer obedience is enough to fuel my erection anyway

Might it be said, I, when people started to set Old Steel Town into a new town, said that the gas station would be seperate from the main town. I assume that, when the teleporters are set up and all, that it will be alright since they actually set up a gate before the eviction.

A new wastelander faction is coming soon ideally. Take your trading there.

Yes, they were already starting up when we agreed to this, before the Brotherhood remembered it needed a teleporter. I was hoping that I'd be able to just have it as my own and not be tied down to one of the towns. With potential taxes and potential enemies, it's a very easy way to get myself killed.

I would go somewhere else, but there really isn't anywhere quite as good as that gas station.
