Extra HP Get!

I've done a few tests, and can say that the class D suckers now have at least 720hp, although I suspect it's nearer to 1400 (survive a freaking dragunov HS, hell yeah)

Now all we need is the super high jump and run and we're set 8)

I saw it uncloak and tackle the guy after a small running animation. am i missing something here

I played that part in clear sky a few weeks ago, he jumps very high after grabbing him. You can see it clearly in the video, start at 0.55.

Bullshit, Happened in swamps in CS. Red forest also. Thats a scripted one, But it also happens in random

Bottom line is, will such an addition (If it were to be scripted) contribute or ruin the bloodsucker experience and the experience of others around it?

I don't see why not, it would open new doors to RP with (e.g. being able to jump onto the roof of a house a stalker is cowering on).
Not to mention encouraging more fearRP, stalkers are no longer inclined to camp on a roof if they could be attacked at any angle.

The whole jump away really high won't help at all.

Most players would probably attempt to still hunt the bloodsucker.


The game itself usually removes both the dead stalker and bloodsucker.

I vaguely recall an admin noclipping around to attack a group of Freedom on his bloodsucker.

Just keep the HP as it is, Bloodsuckers are nasty enough in S2K situations. Adding a jump might result in them reaching the point where not even a well-armed force aware of their presence could kill them.


For various reasons, I'm not at HGN much any more.

If by "well armed force" you mean 3 stalkers, with dragunovs, I'm pretty sure that a sucker could take them all out no problem.
Besides, you shouldn't be trying to get into a fight with them s2k :/
Problem is now all they need to do is camp in a corridor with a L85 and shoot whenever something moves, which stops suckers from ever being able to get near them (tested when I was testing the new effectiveness of suckers with a friend)

Funny thing about those scripted events is how the suckers becomes invincible.

Bloodsuckers are relatively okay as they are, but the players you roleplay with will generally screw it up.

Not all players, just most.

The only time I killed with a sucker is when a player agrees during roleplay. Other then that I'm forced to let them go due to circumstances. Or let them play by NLR.

The most annoying thing I get is "I stabbed you in the leg, react." I've hit a sucker in the balls with a shotgun and it's done close enough to nothing other than chase me. (And I died, without saving T.T)

Not sure what you are saying, but it sounds like you have hit a blood sucker in the crotch?

If that is what you meant, then it wouldn't do much. Unless you meant shot, which would do a lot at close range.

And what is this about saving? SRP or the actual game?

Most, if not nearly all bloodsuckers do NOT have developed a way to reproduce, thus, shooting them in their jewels would do shit. They either lost them due to mutation or either have them completely useless and worthless or can reproduce. At least that's what ThY told me.

Reproduction theories are a big topic, and im not willing to discuss it over the forums at this point. ~ ThY
