Hl2Rp Incident

Hello, I was Playing on the Hl2 rp Server, the HGN one. I had noticed a way inside the Nexus, By jumping from a small ledge onto a balcony, now, i can understand how this could be interpreted as a Poor map design problem, and i don't have any problem with anyone Making an Ic Obstruction to prevent it. What i DO have a problem with, is An Instant killing electrical Barrier, Floating in the middle of the air, in the way of the path so that you cannot cross. what the fuck? that is stupid, Sadly, I didn't know that taking screenshots wouldnt pick up the chatlog, so i don't have any logs of the incident, but take my word for it, It was Retarded.  after i first noticed the barrier, And pointed it out, an admin, I assume it was an admin, because there was noone around, and it was looc, Told me there was a power cable connecting it, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and went up to see for myself, Not only was there no visable Cable, i Finally noticed it was FLOATING, a little bit off the ground. I pointed this out, and i believe this is when i first started to get flamed By The playerbase, apperently, I was making a big deal out of nothing, Maybe thats true, but i was convinced an admin was getting away with propblock, and the playerbase was defending him, so i pressed on. i told them there was No Generator piece, those long combine metal pieces that Create the Sheild, there were no cables, nothing, just a piece of shiny blue energy floating in the middle of the ledge.i asked them to atleast put some effort into their asspulled barrier, and they were kind enough to place a single sheild generator piece Behind it, if anyone here has played half life 2, they'd realise that doesnt work. rather then make an ass of myself and complain about this, i Tried to work WITH the admin, i took two generator pieces and created my own version of the barrier, one that didnt break Hl2 canon, i suggested he remove the barrier he had made, and use mine, his answer was to delete my barrier, and ignore me. by now, i was rather Frustrated that he was so hell-bent on keeping his Propblock, and i took several screenshots of the block, and what i had thought, would be the chatlogs. sadly, the chatlogs were captured. p. here are some screenshots i managed to take.

It means that you are simply not supposed to go there OOC and IC wise. If an admin said that there's a cable connecting it, then ICly, there is.
Admin's say is final.

What this complaint is aimed at, is something I still don't understand.

It's aimed at the fact An admin can get away with propblock, and the playerbase blindly defends it. why are admins above the rules? am i the only one who sees something wrong with this? admins are suposed to enforce the rules, and abide by them, i garentee if i had put a metal grate infront of my apartment in Hl2rp, it would be deleted, and i would be in trouble. so, whats the difference between that scenario and this one? and i dont want to hear "your a citizen he's combine he can do what he wants." the real difference is that i'm a player, and he's an admin. regardless, we're both bound by the rules are we not?

You said that you made a better of version of the propblock, told an admin to remove his own. So basically you're admitting to propblocking.

In a sense, yes. but i think of it as Trying to work With the admin, He put an asspulled energy shield in the way, i made one that didn't defy the laws of reality, i was trying to help him, because he wouldnt put the effort in, and i was. I planned on deleting it, but he deleted it for me, i was hoping he would take note of it, comment, maybe duplicate, or copy my idea, and replace the entity? but he simply deleted it, and ignored me.

Don't be a backseat admin.
That means you don't go somewhere and start fixing mistakes, which actually should be done by an admin.

Also, it's not counted as a propblock when an admin puts a prop to avoid you entering that area with or without a reason.

You misunderstand me. I am saying, I was Trying to work with him, to solve the problem, By showing him what was wrong, and giving an example on how to fix it. rather then giving up on trying to solve the problem.

Jake, what does severity have to do with this? breaking the rules, is, surprisingly, breaking the rules. it shouldnt matter if this is not a big deal as you seem to think, it's still against the rules, and should be atleast noted, if not dealt with.
