If your a child you have plausible deniability of not knowing what your doing and having about 10 years or less.

Honestly, looking back, they'd keep you in holding until you were 16 then try you after that.
In a country like the UK, The media gets all over the governments ass for holding someone without conviction for more than 24 hours let alone more than half a year.
