[HL2RP] Minge Proof

This has become quite a pain in the ass lately...



Minges, Minges everywhere.

Everytime someone joins the server I get excited, but I die inside when I find out they're all MINGES.

And no, not your generic new SeriousRPers, I mean fucking retards.


- I try to teach them, they refuse to listen.

- I try to roleplay as a citizen, they ignore me.

- I try to detain them, they rejoin.

Can't we please get some content/SVN worthy to download, or at least a harder questioning system at first join.

Minges tend to leave at the sight of downloads, and people who are actually interested will look up for the content pack!

-May activate and operate ration terminals with the consent and permission of a unit at or above the rank of 01.
-May issue beatings to citizens for failure to comply, as well as perform a search, only after having consented a unit at or above the rank of 02.
-May not own, carry or operate any weapon unless called upon to do so in an emergency or in a training exercise.
-May not exit the Nexus unaccompanied by a unit at or above the rank of OfC.
-May not issue orders to any other unit. This includes other recruits.

The questions shouldn't be "Do you like cake?" "Yes, I do." 10 times.
It's easy, questions such as "What is OOC" and general RP knowledge are needed.

Im not sure why you tried to downgrade the post like that Steven when it was in for the greater good of the server.
Questions wont do the trick, the "Minges" you speak of are trolls.  They are there blantently to piss you off and everyone else off.  Solution: Admins on HL2, get a little more active and crack down on them trolls.
If they are Minges, they usually do atleast have the right mind to listen because they want to join in.  The term Mingebag was issued to every new player on Gmod 9 as a warning to other players that a character was new to the game.  Terrible name for a objective and like it would, it'd give those players a usual bad name of "Mingebag."
Also, off topic refering to Stevens post and this is directed at Deathcon.  I'd advise allowing Recruits on patrol, they need to learn capability when alone anyway.

^^^ This... There will always be trolls to come and ruin a server, no matter what. However, there is the rare case every once in a while that a person will join, but however be interested in learning how to behave and actually RP.

As for the recruit's. I think the rules should be changed. RCT's may patrol but it MUST be with another unit at ALL times. 05's still have the same but are a little higher on the chain. 04's can carry and use a PISTOL only but must have permission to use it in the first place or for emergencies only. That is all.
