May I suggest using another map? The actual one is extremely overused, even in DarkRP.

If Judas wants to that is ;)

I'm thinking about City 8 Central

Agreed. Personally, I do not care for this map. Even if we were to change to a version of city45, I would find it to be an improvement.

No way. City 8 is made for making the retards at TNB give more moniez to Dave, not for serious rp.

Besides, the whole Chinese theme is so ridiculous.

It's Japanese, lol.
Blake.H: And im also working on whipping him into shape
Blake.H: He's nice
Blake.H: He doesn't moan
Blake.H: The sheer obedience is enough to fuel my erection anyway

We have to pay Dave?

What...

Well, if we're going to pick a map we need a canon behind it. A map defines what kind of factions our factions are.

Example: City 8 District 9 implies that the Resistance is very very real and it's here. It also implies the CPs are going to be quite brutal.

City 18 implies the CPs are going to be very nosy and won't hesitate to beat you, but the Resistance is going to be much more suave, much more lucrative, much more passive.

City 45 implies basically the same thing as City 18, but it makes the CPs look a whole lot more larger and the Resistance spread a whole lot thinner.

City 8, Central District says that the CPs are very large and the Resistance is dangerous, enigmatic, and their cause is very ambiguous.

Let me give you guys a small tip.  Some times even the most disliked map can be the best.
Let me give you folks an example, I ran into issues when I switched map back in my community and yet everyone requested the map.  The reason this was is because the majority of new players/potential new players are going to not be fucked to download a new map to a community they may never had played and may think will die (Its HL2 after all)

I found I had more players on the disliked map C18 opposed to a loved map.  You got to think from all sides, pick a map most people outside the community will have also.  That's all for my words of advise folks.  Develop the playerbase and when the server has a stable HL2 forum activity, then you should think about a switch of map because that will raise the likely hood of people downloading the map if they do not have it.
