Yep. So last night I was playing Garry's Mod just fine. Woke up this morning, tried launching it, and found that it won't go past "Preparing to launch Garry's Mod..." I had this problem maybe 3-4 months ago, but it fixed with a simple restart. This problem just won't go away this time. So far, I've tried restarting Steam, restarting my computer, shutting down my computer, reinstalling Garry's Mod, and finally reinstalling Steam and all it's games all together. None of this has helped.
Does anyone know of a solution? If not, suggestions are appreciated.

Anyway, it fixed itself randomly. In other news, I got 2 free copies of The Ship out of no where in the process. Anybody want one?

Your best bet to do, Like what I do sometimes, Launch gmod and let it sit at 'Preparing game' as you go off and do something else to kill time, Takes awhile to load sometimes.

Also if steam fails to work, just wait an hour or two unless it gives you an error. In that case.. google it.
