Also I think if we have to wipe the server before we can update it then just update the wilds and keep it up and running for a day or two.

OMFG have you seen the new stuff! It is so sexy! I could marry it all! Though one issue is mot of the coolest new things are guns. Lots and lots of guns. Not to mention all the furturistic looking shit.

I know but luckily I'm a fairly gun orientated character so I'm sorted! I think the best looking and best suited new and old armor for my character has gotta be the hallowed armor but getting accepted for having it is gonna be hellish to do
The new armor system aren't all better then the old ones not counting old armors this is best to worse.
Hallow, Adamantium, Mythril, Cobalt.
Non of my characters can specifically use guns so I can only use guns in my own worlds. Though I'm sure I can teach them IC.

You COULD just only use it for looks - I.E.: As Vanity equipment. Vanity equipment makes Terraria go 'round...
To be honest, with the implementation of repeaters aka crossbows, there really isn't a need to allow guns to be used on the server anymore.
