Strengths, Weaknesses

Merman: When in water, Siritsyn is at his maximum potential power. Born of the sea, though he does fine in freshwater. He thrives in the water. Unfortunately, when he exits, he is weakened, and vulnerable. The sun is too bright, his body too heavy. He is reduced to a lesser form, as only his true form is worthy of water.

Mage: He was his tribe's Nomad, therefore trained in the arts of magic.

Gills: Can't stay out of water for too long.Alcoholic: Every since he was taken aboard a ship and given his first taste of ale, he has loved it. Though it will probably kill him one day, he's a drinker 'til the end.

Wary: His tribe had no reason to be distrustful, but pirates did. Siritsyn is no stranger to deception, but is always a friendly guy.

Background

Siritsyn comes from a tribe of Merpeople, who roam from ocean to ocean, following the currents. There are others of his kind who have built cities, and laid establishments, but not his. His are a restless people, seeking for new waters daily. He was the tribe's Nomad, essentially a Scout/Mage of sorts. He would defend his people, and search for danger. Being a Nomad is highly respected in his people's society. He has traveled the seas for several decades now; boarded dozens of vessels, as both a welcome guest and expected dinner; and seen wonders in the depths of the eternal tides. But he had grown restless, and started to gaze at the surface more and more. He now kindly leaves his people, to quest on his own, perhaps to join his people another time. But now he is a true Nomad, and has left for greater things.
