All of you on the server REALLY need to cut down on senseless OOC chatter. This is an RP server, not a "talk about shit that doesn't fucking matter" server. Whenever I come onto the server, all I see is scrolling walls of OOC text. It not only pushes IC posts out of the way but it distracts people.
Especially those of you who talk OOC and don't understand how to use fucking parentheses or SOMETHING to let us know you're not IC.
If you are only chatting OOC with one or two people, have the courtesy to jump into a party together and use /p to talk quietly within your group so that you don't disrupt RP.
I'm warning all of you here so I don't have to warn you on the server because if I have to start actively warning people while I'm logged in I'm liable to start muting.
In short: More RP, less blah blah blah.
Thank you.
T.T Im sorry, Im especially guilty of this.

I feel like I've seen you do that more than anyone else :l

I can understand forgetting to use parentheses once or twice. I do it sometimes myself. If I see you talking about tables in parentheses and suddenly spot a post that's still talking about tables without parentheses, I'm not going to jump on your case. Odds are, you could have just forgotten or you could have left one, or both, of them out because there's a strict character limit when posting in Terraria (the latter is usually what I end up doing. I'm used to the character limit and sacrificing the first parenthesis in order to add periods at the end of sentences).
However, when I complain about people not using parentheses it's directed at those players that don't seem to EVER use them.
If people are worried that I'm going to jump on the server and start screaming at players just because they're chatting OOC, then you don't know me that well at all.
1) I don't kick people without at least a warning or two.
2) I'm not going to warn you if you've been talking OOC for 15 minutes. I WILL warn you if you've been talking OOC for an hour with no sign of letting up.
3) Kicking is not the same as banning.
You were always my favorite Moderator because you're sensible.
Effective Immediately:
OOC Chat is to be kept to the Yellow Team Channel while on the server. As always, /p is used for team chat. You can enter the yellow team by opening your inventory with [ESC] and click on the yellow flag above your equipment on the right side of your screen. This should keep the world chat free of OOC so that people who prefer only to RP can ignore all of the extra chatter.
A few messages in world chat that are OOC are fine, however, if you're talking about something that you need to organize within the scene you are actively RPing, especially if you notice that the yellow team is heavy with chatter and you don't want your messages pushed off-screen by it.
Red, Blue, and Green channels are still completely open.

That's a good one. +1 to putting that in the rules thread.

THis
But Kami, at least give us a little time to get used to it, other than start muting the shit out of everyone.
Trust me, even I OOC in the main chat occasionally. I gotta get used to it too.
Already added to rules.
